Do not nominate a swimming pool!
Unless it's at an amusement park or an official government sanctioned park! Or at places like the YMCA! I'm talking official signs with government logos on them! And you absolutely will have a lifeguard on duty! It's ILLEGAL to allow pedestrian access to pools! In the USA it's a legal obligation to fence completely around a pool with a locked gate! Its for safety and so someone doesn't drown. Doesn't take a genius.
Re: Trailmarkers - warning received
But I’m human too.
if they can make the mistake in accepting it, how does that make it OK to send me that message? They speak about nominations, so multiple, I mentioned all my nominations in a comment earlier. I don’t get what is so bad about it. (I am bad in making pictures I guess)
Like mentioned before. If they (now) decide it is not a good wayspot, fine. But why that message.
Re: Do not nominate a swimming pool!
If by illegal you mean ineligible under Niantic rules, then yes private pools including those in private residential complexes are not eligible. Public pools are acceptable, and there's no requirement for government logos.
Re: Trailmarkers - warning received
OK, let's keep the discussion on track and not about how individual game players may or may not behave, thanks!
Removed in Marthille
Title of the Wayspot: le menhir du bois des seigneurs
Location: 48.935882 / 6.538116
City: Martille
Country: France
Photos to support your claim:
Additional information: The portal has been deleted. We can see in the photos taken today that the portal is still present (picture 1). It is located in the woods of Marthille which is not a private place. The forest paths allow you to reach it on foot in complete safety (picture 2). There is also a forest path visible on the map (picture 3). The portal Le mehnir du bois des seigneurs is a landmark separating the two forests of Marthille (Le bois des seigneurs and les neufs journaux). It allows you to locate yourself when hiking in the forest (picture 3)
Re: Trailmarkers - warning received
The good old Niantic Flip-Flop Special.
I guess Ingress players complained about trail markers too much since they're often in remote areas that can't be driven to, so they'd have to put in too much effort to destroy them and they just whine until Niantic removes the portals instead.
Re: Trailmarkers - warning received
From my experience (see this post), and what I have seen elsewhere (here on the forum and other places on the internet), people getting these vague educational/warning mails after one or couple removed trail markers that were nominated in good faith.
Title edit appeal (109동 앞 정자)
Title of the Wayspot: 109동 앞 정자
Location: 37.49559°,126.82096°
City: Seoul
Country: South Korea
Since there are many buildings that overlap with the name of the nearby wayspot and look similar, I apply for a change to the '온수힐스테이트 109동 앞 정자' with the name of the apartment in it to be easier to distinguish.
Re: Trailmarkers - warning received
Wrong! Ingress players LOVE an anchor that is hard for the other team to get to. Get off the hate and join us. You get 40 nominations in each game.
