Re: LDS and Niantic Games
I do know of churches that used to have Wayspots, but they requested their removal due to the large number of people just parking in their lot and playing the games. One large Catholic church had 3 or 4 in the past, 1 for the church, 1 for a picnic pavilion, 1 for a statue that I can remember. The Wayspots have been gone for years, and it most likely is because they didn't like players coming for non-church reasons at any hour to play; they most likely saw this activity as being disrespectful, so they put a stop to it.
I don't see these removed Wayspots as a loss though, as there have been new ones approved nearby, especially at a park, bowling alley, golf driving range, and some public art at a newer shopping area.
If this church really wanted to encourage players to start attending service there or look into Catholicism, I think they would have kept the Wayspots up and tried to change the descriptions to promote the religion. I don't know if the descriptions would have been accepted though, even in community voting.
So, while there may be church members working to change titles and/or descriptions, I don't think it's a concerted effort by any of the churches. It's more likely that members that play the games are submitting edits worship at those churches.
Re: Removal of Wayspot from Cypress Hills Cemetery
Thing is the owners of this cemetery no longer wish for it to be in the game the guy even emailed niantic to get it removed. It just doesn’t belong in the game. I dont enjoy being a fun killer but i personally got removed from the property because i was playing it before i wasn’t causing a problem and then i contacted the owners and they told me they dont wish it to be in the game any more.
Re: New Forum, New Adventures, Same Explorer Community - Discussion
It'll be going on both which is why it'll take some time as we work on getting it translated.
Re: New Forum, New Adventures, Same Explorer Community - Discussion
Thanks for bringing this up. I'll be working with the Ambassadors to have a collective and updated "criteria clarification" making it easier for folks to identify what the most recent criteria are. This will be in the new community soon after launch.

It's local business and not a gallery. More like a Showcase If not Even that. Here is a link For company pages: https://r-wood.fi/

Re: Exclusive New Pokémon GO Feature Comes to Explorers - Routes Creation - Discussion
I found Mateo, he was his normally cheery self waiting at the next route end along with a zygarde cell.
The next route no cell
The next route a cell
the next 2 routes no cell
So it may be that it determines if Mateo should be eligible to appear or not depending on when you choose to follow it rather than when you actually start it.
Jury is still out on the zygarde cell. Need to experiment more.
Re: Chased off By the manger
I agree with above comments about rebuilding the relationship. However, if you feel that is lost...
There is no in game support or Wayfarer contributor means to request the Gym to become a Stop. The owner would have to choose to reach out to Niantic.
If you feel so concerned, you could reach out to the owner on a visit or through contact information provided and encourage them to use this weblink
Note that it may affect the gym balance for the area, depending on the request from the store manager and how Support processes it.
Re: Chased off By the manger
Parking spaces are private property. They can absolutely ask you to leave and involve the police to trespass you off the property if you refuse to comply. But why let it proceed to that? There's a first time for everything. But now that these raiders know the property owner is concerned about their parking spaces being used up by non-customers, the PGO players need to be good neighbors.
1) Try consolidating into a single car so that there are 5 or 6 people in one car rather than 4 - 6 cars with 1 or 2 people in each.
2) When you have a chance, take that single car load of 5 or 6 people and go inside the coffee shop to all buy a drink and a snack. You'll be supporting a local business and you will help build a better relationship with the owner. Of course this only works if the players are friendly and well behaved while inside the shop.
Exploring the community encompasses more than just wandering trails. I have learned so much about the local businesses in my area by paying attention to what could potentially be a POI. There are so many interesting shops from diverse cultures in my area.
Re: New Forum, New Adventures, Same Explorer Community - Discussion
I am concerned that the community will lose some valuable members. I rather not lose anyone and I hope it is limited.
