Re: Sensitive Location?
Memorials aren't generally eligible unless they're for a significant person or an event, and they can potentially be sensitive objects if the person/people involved are recently departed.
Without seeing what you put for your supporting info, I have no idea who Win and Len Murray are or why they'd be considered important to the local (or wider) community, so I'd just assume they're two random insignificant people based on what I can see here and that the memorial would therefore fall into the ineligible side of things.
Re: Criteria for new spots - Every playground should be removed.
To have different opinions is welcome in a forum (I think).
Even with your new pictures and supporting infos (not kind to give them after asking for opinions ;-)) I think I would give it thump up.
When there's really nothing but a green field in the middle, that could be the only place there to socialize (or in the living room of one of your contrahents).
I don't want to argue about this, it's only my objective sight on it.
If you need acception or removing advice, you should probablly open a new discussion. The headline doesn't fit to it.
Re: How do cities have so many Pokestops?
Most cities will be dense with Wayspots but they still follow the one stop per Lv17 and sixty four per Lvl14 max.
Sometimes sponsored stops can alter or make it look different. Sometimes it looks like they are clustered together due to their placement in the corners of the Lvl 17 cell.
There were some cities that were effected by abuse so huge clusters of incorrectly placed and moved stops appeared but I'm not sure how many of those are left.
Re: LDS and Niantic Games
I was about to say the same thing. Correcting wayspot titles to reflect the official name of a church is fine (good, even), but changing all the descriptions into advertisements is way over the line.
Kids play this game. There are parents who will not like churches proselytizing to their kids through Pokemon Go. Niantic should stop this now.
Re: Historical building: is it possible to get it accepted?
If they are single family private residences, or attached to the property of single family private residences (even on the outward facing side of the wall or property boundary), then they fall foul of the single family private residential criteria and should be rejected (or removed if they're already in the database).
It is very unfortunate that the rules are like this, but they are the rules.
Re: LDS and Niantic Games
I know the routes guidelines prohibit done of these descriptions
Re: Appeal removed wayspot
Nobody plays pokemon there, and this isn't even unique.
Re: Explain this
All of our seasons are wet, therefore we get to enjoy them all year around 😂
Re: Explain this
It's because there are people in the wayfaring community that just simply decline everything because they can't be bothered to actually read the nominations. I'm almost certain of that.
Re: New Pokestops for Kids
Hi, @DerGnom7705-PGO - your English is quite good, actually! Most nominations are reviewed for the quality of the actual thing nominated, not for the quality of the surrounding area (unless that area is unsafe for all, or on single-family private residential property, or at a school or daycare for those under 18). I live in a residential/suburban area myself, and I know I'll never have a Wayspot within reach of my home as a result. What sort of things are being nominated in your area? Are they great places to explore, exercise, or be social? I'd love to see some examples! There's also a great subforum here where on can post potential nominations and get advice that may lead to an acceptance, or reasoning why the candidate won't qualify.
