Re: Upgrade Next Issue
If you turn automatic upgrades off in your wayfarer settings, then your upgrade next won't do anything and you can manually apply upgrades to nominations.
Re: How do I improve this submission?
Please be respectful to fellow wayfinders.
In particular the area of Nomination Improvement is a place where any wayfinder can seek help and support. As such comments should be supportive and not dismissive and rude.
If you read a post in this section and reflect that you can’t add positive suggestions then please consider not posting.
If you are still unsure what makes a good post then read the one by @Faversham71-PGO
Re: Historic Lighthouse. Bad Appeal Decision
Like, dude, I literally explained it already.
Re: Wayspot location suggestion change process
If you can't do it in Go or Ingress you could use the help chat if it needs to be moved more than 10m I think.
Title, co-ordinates, geo tagged picture would help, any info, links to prove your relocation is valid.
If you want to post the title and where it is someone will probably be able to help you with the co-ordinates.
Re: Wayspot location suggestion change process
The most common way of getting the coordinates for a nomination is to use the Ingress Intel Map. This has a mobile version and a full version, the latter of which can still be viewed on mobiles, but it's not exactly optimised for it. You need to use the full version to get coordinates though. Once you're viewing the full version, tap on the Portal you want the coordinates of, and then tap the link button which is at the top right of the page above the map. This will open a text box with a link in that you can copy, and this link will be good enough for support.
Once you have that, you can login to the wayfarer website, navigate to the help tab, and then tap the orange speech bubble icon in the corner to open up the wayfarer support chat. After the introductory steps you will be able to select location edit as what you want to discuss. They'll ask for the name, the existing coordinates (the link you copied in the above step) and the new coordinates (you can find these by long pressing on the location you want to move the pin to on Google maps, though sometimes if you tap on the search bar to copy the coordinates, it'll turn into an address, so I recommend screenshotting the coordinates in case that happens, so you can manually type them if all else fails).
After that they'll let you supply any other evidence that you think will show that the move is valid.
Re: There's no pokestops around me for several dozen kilometers, Niantic just rejected me nomination.
It looks like there are a lot of fishing holes in that river. If there are any public docks or platforms for fishing, or any signs about conservation of the local waters, go find those. The main thing is that it needs to be public land, not someone's private property.
Otherwise, in terms of eligible spots for POI, your area is pretty bleak. There's not much we can do to help you. Wayfarer is built on the concept of having "places" to go. Most of the people who choose to live in areas like yours are specifically trying to escape people and places. Hopefully, we've given you a few ideas.
Come find us in the Nomination Support section on the new forum in a few days if you decide to try to submit any of these places. We will help you make your nomination be as good as you can make it.
Re: Multiple images have children in them
We have taken another look and we’ve decided to remove the invalid images of the Wayspot.

Re: Historic Lighthouse. Bad Appeal Decision
Okay, thanks for that. But… …what is the reason underpinning that conclusion?
It's fine when someone raises a nomination and everyone familiar with Wayfarer can glance at it and say: "There's no pedestrian access." or "It's on private residential property."
But when they've raised an issue and it looks like it complies with previous Niantic statements, wouldn't it be preferable to highlight something as to HOW or WHY?
It wouldn't require an essay, either. Could somebody please just state that they cannot determine if there is a safe dock available, or whatever? Under existing rules sites that are only available to an exclusive group are still eligible if they meet acceptance criteria and don't hit any of the dis-qualifiers. So this one ticks the box that says 'Unsafe'.
Why?
Is every nomination meant to be a unicorn, where you just issue some verdict that cannot be discussed, challenged, or even reflected onto any other case?
Re: No aparece pokeparada aceptada
Please re-read your email as this mentions they may not appear in all Niantic games. This also means they can appear in no (current) games.
This one is in the same cell as Evangelio en la plaza so will not appear on Pokémon GO and is also within 20m of it so won’t appear on Ingress.
The second one is within 20m of Plaza Augusto Schweitzer so won’t appear on Ingress. In that cell for Pokémon GO either the aforementioned Wayspot would be the PokéStop or Emblema colgante del cuartel de bomberos but you won’t get another PokéStop in this cell.
So these two Wayspots don’t meet the inclusion rules to appear in either Pokémon GO or Ingress at this time.
