Re: Waypoint approved, but it's not on the map.
I understand that the nomination screen reads like you are submitting a Pokestop for Pokemon Go when you nominate in that game, but you are actually submitting a Wayspot to the Lightship database. Your accepted Wayspot is included there. What they don't tell you is the rule for inclusion in Pokemon Go, which is being the only Wayspot in an L17 S2 cell. Google "S2 cells and Pokemon Go" for an explanation.
Re: The Best and The Worst of the Wayfarer forums
It's a shame we can't search for the most liked and the most disagreed comments as a somewhat subjective look at the best and worst... Though there is one fairly recent comment on the forum that would probably stand out with regards to lots of disagreements 🤔
I might try and dig through my contributions and see what I find, though I think you have a bit more patience than me when it comes to sifting through approximately 5000 forum contributions 😂
Re: Request restoration of "Top Tepesi"
It's a real place. We were there. But this portal was removed by local enlightened community when we decided to make cross links to this portal
Request restoration of "Top Tepesi"
Title of the Wayspot: Top Tepesi
Location: 38.081808,27.740587
City: Izmir
Country: Turkey
Photos to support your claim:
It's a sign next to the road. Sign is big and visible. In above you can see in streetview. The sign is changed because the streetview is from 2015. But the sign still here and you can park your car next to it.
Re: Title/Description Edit Appeal
Hi @EvilMasterOfAll-ING! Based on the evidence provided, we’ve made necessary changes to the title, image, location, and description of the Wayspot.

Re: Need to Move POI to the left on Google Maps
Thanks for the appeal, @CarlosLionheart-PGO. Based on our research, the Wayspot is at the correct location and does not require any adjustments at this time.

Re: Need to Move POI to the left on Google Maps
Hey, I'm just a Citizen on the wayfarer forum, offering you some friendly Advice. Niantic are very clear that location edits should only be to improve the accuracy of wayspots. This does the opposite and so could be considered abuse. I would rather not see players get punished for such things.
If you really do live there and it's bothering you, put some net curtains or a blind up, or request a removal as the property owner. If what I've said above is a hint to your true intent though, then that's definitely abuse by trying to manipulate the game board and I would definitely recommend dropping it.
Re: Little free library, I don’t trust them…
basically don’t except little free library nominations in front of someone’s house or that look like there in front of someone’s house. Better to skip it or not except it what ever you choose to do.
