Yes. Well you do write pretty good stuff that is sensible and balanced.
Unlike my rants which cause me to have a good amount of dislikes :-) I wonder if I can get a badge for that.
Re: New Forum, New Adventures, Same Explorer Community - Discussion
Oh no, I'm well aware that changing the forum structure won't make Niantic better at communicating, that's completely their failing.
I suppose I'm venting somewhat, trying to make my voice and many others heard in the hope that this fresh start might spur the team to make some positive changes.

Thanks @AliceWonder1511-PGO
So essentially the third aspect of being a wayfinder…..curating the map - how to do edits, photo updates removing wayspots ( but not the actual removal request). Interesting.
I love the title of Idea Factory - will ponder on that.

After reviewing the additional evidence provided, we’ve decided to retire the Wayspot in question. Thanks!

Re: Fake portal, what cant be deleted
You need to follow the correct format when appealing rejected removals. There is a template at the top of the screen when you create a new post in this section of the forum. Your post lacks pretty much everything that this template says to post.

Re: How could it be…..?
@JSorR33v3-PGO Hello and Welcome.
It is frustrating when you constantly get rejections. You start to compare your submissions with others and that is really not a good idea. When your submission is reviewed it is reviewed on its own merits and isn’t compared to others.
As with any system somethings get through that should have been rejected.
From the photos this object looks like a great item. However part of the assessment also has to look at the context and this appears to be in the front garden of a single residential property. The guidelines are clear if it is on the property then it should be rejected. It doesn’t matter if it can be reached from a public space it is all about its physical location. So this should never be accepted.
If you want some help to find nominations that will be acceptable fellow wayfinders will be very happy to help.
This forum closes in a few days. You might find it helpful to wait until the new forum opens and post there.
Re: How do I upgrade a church pokestop into a gym?
To echo what has been said if you are comfortable please do share the location some of us are very happy to do some virtual tourism to try and find things and help present them in the best possible way.
Common things that make nominations are community noticeboards, a play area, park, sports area eg football field, a hall that acts as community space.
Re: How do I upgrade a church pokestop into a gym?
This isn't a Wayfarer issue.
Gyms are created when a Level 14 S2 Cell reaches its second, sixth or twentieth active wayspot in Pokémon Go. Which Pokéstop gets upgraded to a Gym is random, so if the Level 14 S2 Cell gets enough active wayspots in Pokémon Go, the church could become a Gym, but something else may become a Gym instead. If you haven't heard about S2 Cells, I suggest searching the internet for the Pokémon Go Hub Comprehensive Guide to S2 Cells in Pokémon Go as it might help you understand the way the game map works a bit better.
