Re: All Poké stops/gyms were removed at my college.. why?
Unfortunately, we do not have access to the information requested about what went wrong. All we can share is, we complied with the requests of the property owner.

Celebrating influential women from Victorian times and significant buildings associated with them, quite close together in Manchester a city that expanded hugely in the Industrial Revolution.
Elizabeth Gaskell born 1810 became famous as a novelist in the mid 1800s
and the Pankhurst Centre celebrates the efforts of Emmeline Pankhurst to ensure Women got the right to vote in the U.K.
I am grateful that people won the argument that gave me the right to vote.
PS those descriptions are awful must do something about that.
Re: International Women’s Day
Locate in the Main Street of the Rural Town I live in, Gympie. She is a reminder of how flooding is a way of life in Gympie. It is a POI. I didn't create the wayspot but I thank the person who took the time and did.
Re: Please restore portal: "Route naar knooppunt 40 (FNRGV)"
Please don't delete this portal.
it is a part of great fields and is a legal portal.
Re: Please restore portal: "Route naar knooppunt 40 (FNRGV)"
Can’t beat it delete it, same story again and again with the RES in NL. Please take actions to this players that abuse the wayfarer website and ban them from it.
Re: Please restore portal: "Route naar knooppunt 40 (FNRGV)"
Is this the way we should play the game or is this that people resist the play of Ingress??
Please don't delete portals so easily. The people who make these fields are doing it exactly the way the game is supposed to be played, right?
Please restore portal: "Route naar knooppunt 40 (FNRGV)"
Title of the wayspot: Route naar knooppunt 40 (FNRGV)
Location: https://intel.ingress.com/?ll=52.277469,5.042476&z=13&pll=52.277469,5.042476
City: Nederhorst den Berg
Country: Netherlands
The portal was removed, but we suspect it was removed because it was part of an active ENL multilayer setup.
The portal in question meets the criteria, and is a marker for a bike route along the river Vecht.
The area is not portal dense at all, and I think the portal meets all criteria.
Community forum posts on this topic lead me to believe this portal is valid:
https://community.wayfarer.nianticlabs.com/discussion/comment/155876/#Comment_155876
The portal itself is part of this route:
https://www.visitgooivecht.nl/nl/zien-doen/wandelen
Another portal on the spine we used for an ML was also removed, and we suspect this is just because we field on it. It is not the first time this happens when it comes to fielding.
Thank you in advance for looking into this.
Also, please advise on how to report abuse of wayfarer rights to remove perfectly ok portals. It seems the game has turned into "let's frustrate the other faction by removing random portals".
Nearby there are similar portals, also part of this route, not being removed.

Bars - have they all now become ineligible?
I've always thought local bars, gastronomy establishments, were eligible nominations, yet when I nominated one it was rejected for Other abuse-related reasons and Generic Business. No big deal, most of my nominations are, but...
Then I appealed it. Today I received this response:
Thanks for the appeal, Explorer! The Wayspot nomination in question is a bar which is a liquor oriented business which is an ineligible location under Wayspot rejection criteria. We recommend you review the Wayspot rejection criteria before submitting any more Wayspot contributions: https://niantic.helpshift.com/hc/en/21-wayfarer/faq/2774-rejection-criteria/
Now this is crazy! The bar I nominated doesn't even sell any alcohol beverages and as far I know (not that it should matter) never did. Instead it is a local eatery, where you can go for lunch or dinner. Its advantage is, that it is local and not part of a larger chain. However, that brings the disadvantage of there not being a particulary active website, where the up to date menu could be found.
In my country (most of the time) restaurant are more often the ones seen selling alcohol, as they are the places where people go for official meeting, dates, etc. Bars are far more rarely seen doing that, but sure, there are rare exceptions.
In my 337 words long appeal statement (which should be an absolute overkill) I highly emphasized all the pros of this bar: great place to be social with others, amazing food, kind staff, being popular among locals, etc.
So, my question is, @NianticAvocado , @NianticCasey-ING, @NianticLingTing, @NianticMac-ING, @NianticPooja or whichever is the one reviewing appeals, why was my appeal incorrectly rejected for selling alcohol? Or is this another failure of you/your team⁉️ We, explorers, get only one appeal per month, which is quite little with 30-40 nominations and then they get absurd rejection reasons? Why?!
I can't even nominate it again because I'm scared for my account getting banned. Not that without renominating I'm not, all players in my community are with the absurds you've recently presented.
Re: All Poké stops/gyms were removed at my college.. why?
"What happened overnight" is that Niantic received a request from a university official to remove the wayspots from Pokémon GO. At that point, Niantic's only option is to immediately remove them.
If you want more information about why they were removed, you need to contact the person(s) who made the decision to have the stops removed--not Niantic, but whatever university official requested their removal. Property owners are not required to justify their removal requests, so Niantic does not have any information for you on the reasoning of the university official(s).
Re: All Poké stops/gyms were removed at my college.. why?
I sympathize with the loss of a great space to play PGO. But players need to remember that they are not entitled to access wayspots at any location. Even though the space "feels" like it belongs to the community, it absolutely does not. The University has the right to remove any wayspots it wants, even out of spite. They don't need to justify that to anyone, not even Niantic.
While I can see how having wayspots might draw more business to a retail area, having more on a college campus doesn't seem like it would benefit the University at all. In fact, it could potentially increase their liability because it increases traffic on their property for a reason that is not related to the University.
Imagine if a bunch of postal workers decided to hold large picnics on the University grounds. It's a central meeting spot for all the postal routes, so it makes sense to the postal workers. But they have no *real* reason to be on campus, taking up space and using resources. It would be completely reasonable for the University to contact the USPS to tell their workers to find another gathering spot.
Whether it's postal workers or people playing games, if you don't have business related to the University, they have the right to want to reduce your use of their grounds.
