i tried using the "generic street signs" that have the name of the plaza "plaza of flowers or something" as the anchors (since ya know, it is in the guidelines to use a permanent placemarker to attract users to that place/plaza)
got rejected.
all the plazas that i tried have some sort of garden, water feature or place to sir. also being 90% exclusivly pedestrian. lots of small plazas in europe have some history associated.
but i think the reviewers just see the "road sign" and 1* because it is a coal-attempt of the road sign...
some plazas dont have a fancy sign.. just these bland signs.
nevertheless, this particular plaza is beautiful.. but since i submit this, the reviewers don't understand that i am trying to anhcor the big plaza to this "generic road sign"
@FBIinformant30-PGO I saw your comment elsewhere about rejecting shopping center signs. I thought that this comment from Giffard might change your mind :)
