I have created 6 waypoints on Minneapolis Parks in Ingress and HPWU between 07 and 12 JUN 2020. These eligible waypoints are not in PoGo. NONE of them are in PoGo. They are all in Individual cells without overlap.
If Tennis Courts (x2 different locations blocks apart) , Footbridges across Minnehaha Creek (x2 different locations), a Fishing Pier, and trail sign that clearly denotes the trail it is marking are not eligible for PoGo can we please get some clarifications of what is eligible? Apparently nothing in my area.
I dont want to submit any other spots because if they get caught in "whatever" this is I don't want to lose valid waypoints.
There is something wrong and thus far Niantic is unwilling to discuss.
Ingress, Pokemon go and Harry Potter, none of the game have appear this.
The same has recently happened to 2 of my approved nominations, they do not appear in any game and they do not appear in the duplicate section of wayfarer either.
The issue is communication. This is intended behavior for wayspots within 20m of another waypoint. However this is only told to us in the ingress email not in the pogo email.
I have 3....4...5 portals acepts but no have in game. Example mesa de jogos.

too close from others?
Probiere es mal, in dem du das Schild vom Spielplatz fotografierst.

Your approved portal was too close to other portals.
It must be from 20m away from others to appear in Ingress
Something that I usually do if this happens is measuring the distance (using google maps) between the existing portals to valid location that's de only thing I can do.
Here are the coordinates: 50.164985, 8.726674
the cell is empty and i see no reason why the stop does not come into the game.
It would be nice if I got a concrete solution, it is incredibly frustrating if an upgrade is wasted in this way.
That seems to be at most 10 meters away from Sudetenbaum, so it won't be added to any game.
So what is the app?
"IITC" as I said. It can be found at iitc.app
It is a third party app not supported by Niantic. Use of such tools are discouraged by Niantic.
There are additional plugins you would need to find, as well. If you Google or YouTube "s2 PoGO tools plugin iitc" you'll likely find all the information you need.
I use google maps to measure distances, it's easier...try it !
Approx the portal from ingres intel map, then check google maps and measure from there to a valid point for your nomination
good luck !
Thx
We understand that could be disappointing, @xd3adx-PGO!
To shed a better light on the situation, few spots might be filtered out by our servers to reduce congestion of Wayspots in the area, even after having approved by the Wayfinders. Given this reason, please ensure your submissions don't contribute clogging and we recommend checking the POI density before nominating.
I hope that helps. Cheers!
How are they to do that if Niantic refuses to acknowledge S2 cells, and even the 20m rule @NianticKN-ING ? Nothing in any of the games nor in Wayfarer gives specifics and how to prevent "congestion" or how to check POI density.
Even if they did acknowledge them, it's not like anyone making nominations in Pokemon GO can see where Ingress portals are that don't sync to GO. They could easily make a nomination and not know that there is a portal for the same nomination or a portal that's too close.
And dont forget the Pokemon emails dont provide details like the Ingress emails do regarding not coming live because its to close to other POI's.
How can they do this, exactly? Every time there's any attempt to research, request, or even inform about what matters for anything like this, we're shut down. We acknowledge that your company's decision is to hide and obfuscate it's rules for whatever reasons you see fit (and while attempting to say this respectively, but also bluntly ... misguided and hurtful to the community as this decision is), but then you can't also ask everyone to somehow miraculously know the rules that some people have sussed out and can't necessarily share with each other.
For that matter, did you even check what limited information there is about this area before making this reply? Franklin, Nebraska is hardly a overloaded hotbed of Wayspots. By my count of the Ingress map, there are all of 14 Portals in town limits .. wide enough of an area that general "guessing" would say that there are maybe 3 Pokemon gyms, tops.
Where exactly is the clogging?
No offense, but this is an exceedingly tone def response @NianticKN-ING especially when the S2 grid rules are "secret."
It definitely comes of as "check the L17 cells first!" Despite them not wanting to confirm that this is the system used. Very bizarre, indeed.
@xd3adx-PGO I wouldn't pay much mind to that fairly unhelpful comment from Niantic. I would spend some time researching "S2 cells" and how they influence Pokémon GO (this is a great article to get you started). It's a shame you had to waste some of your nominations due to something as erroneous as this grid overlay system.
Here are a few suggestions that would go into the games.
Buildings:
Outdoor amenities:
Is the library in Pokémon GO? If it is, once edits are available, do an edit to place it at the correct location and another Stop will appear.
Those will create several new gyms for your community, as well.
Some friends and I noticed waypoints not syncing to Ingress and Pokémon GO in our area as well.
In these cases, cell placement should not be an issue as we checked prior to nominating. Even stranger, one of these waypoints has been approved multiple times, as it does not show up in Wayfarer. (It was resubmitted after a failed attempt to receive acknowledgement/assistance from Niantic Support.)
If there are no cell conflicts, the POI should show up in the game. It’s disappointing to hear that Niantic is either filtering these out on purpose (and we’re wasting our time nominating in some circumstances), or is refusing to acknowledge a bug.
Foi colocado em uma célula livre...
Cells have nothing to do with whether or not a nomination is accepted to the general Wayspot database. A new POI must also be 20 meters from any other existing Wayspot (Ingress portal). Your "Pedestrian Bridge 1" is within 20 meters of "Identifying Frogs." Wayspots within 20 meters are naturally blocked. Ingress acceptance emails actually confirm "your nomination is acceptable but too close to be brought online," unlike PoGO emails which do not offer that clarify.
If you renominate that bridge and place the pin at the far east post, assuming it doesn't get moved by reviewers, it should be far enough from the frogs board.
