Nomination ineligible
Everyone of my nominations are rejected, some I've tried to tweak and have resubmit but are still rejected, the reasoning is never consistent.
My latest nomination was simply rejected, "because does not meet acceptance criteria"

Do be aware that sometimes, the answer is still "no".
I live in a small rural village in the village with very few stops nearby.
There is a public walkway / bicycle track central to the village, safely and perfectly situated with grassy surroundings.
I had nominated the cycle path with u-chicane. I know it's not exactly historically significant but any good/ advice?
See if whomever is in charge of the village can be persuaded to put some kind of sign for that walkway. Some signage indicating what it is may increase its odds of being accepted.
Sometimes my best advice is: community involvement.
Hire (Yes, "pay". With money) artists to make murals. Sponsor Scouting troops to create educational signs. Work with city council to name things after locally-significant historical figures.
My impression of that "gateway" photo above is, it's an entrance to some sort of pedestrian walkway. But, and this is where you'll feel disappointed, without some kind of signage that names the location and/or trail, it's not going to pass Wayfarer reviewers.
If you can get the local officials to erect a sign? It's much more plausible.
I can't speak much further to this, without seeing more about the spot (including gps coords and what it looks like on google maps / streetview).
I live in the middle of a small rural village with very few points of interest / pokestops nearby.
In my village there is a public walkway / cycle path with u-chicane quite central to the village, it's ideally situated in safe grassy surroundings.
Whilst it may not be a historically significant POI, I've seen worse, is it any good / or I would be greatful for any advice?
This looks like a random fence. There is not sign indicating that this is part of a walking or cycling trail.
In Google maps it looks like this
54.6722463, -1.6946901
It is definitely a cycle path, irritatingly there is just no signage.
Maybe I was just being hopeful. I just thought it was a nice safe, public assess area which would benefit to many.
So it is basically a short pedestrian lane connecting two roads. Unfortunately, this wouldn't be eligible unless it is part of a larger trail network. I see at least two others connecting to the walkway by the main road, so the best thing be would be to work with local authorities to establish a "looped" exercise trail around the entire village.
Also, have you attempted to submit the church between Jubilee and Church Streets? I know that it is boarded up; but it still qualified as a place of worship, albeit inactive.
The lane connects to routes around the fields and old railwayline nearby.
As for the church - it used to be a village hall / community centre but now it is a privately owned building and is now someone's home, Google maps isn't that up to date yet.
Meets no criteria - "The object is mass-produced, generic, or not visually unique or interesting."
