Title of the Wayspot: HORREM - Gemeinsam besser
Location: 51.101570, 6.804667
City: Dormagen (Horrem)
Country: Germany
Additional information: This wayspot got removed while it is existing and was at the 100% right spot. This is a locally relevant and significant landmark. This place is located in a traffic-calmed 30 zone. There is a spacious pedestrian path with zebra stripes around the place.

That a valid removal, there is no direct and safe pedestrian access leading to the Wayspot.
You cannot touch it without standing in the middle of the road.
This object lacks pedestrian access because it is inside of a roundabout and there are no viable crosswalks leading to the inside section. All Wayspots must have direct pedestrian access to be eligible. Simply being able to "access" it from the outside does not suffice.

And? This is the exact opposite of what Niantic has stated about pedestrian access.
You still dont believe it after 3 high rated wayfarers tell you the criteria AND Nia deleted the POI? They dont delete it because of nothing...
Ineligible location, place, or object
Niantic have said on multiple occasions that being able to stand on a pavement or footway away from the POI where you can still spin the stop or hack the portal is not sufficient for "safe pedestrian access".

If the real-world location of the nomination cannot be confirmed to have safe pedestrian access (for e.g. on a roundabout or on the side of the road with no sidewalk access), rate 1 star for the “Can it be safely accessed?” question.

This is one of the reasons that you see roundabouts without crosswalks often rejected or removed, a Wayspot in the center of a roundabout probably isn't going to be consistently safe for people to walk to.
