I just hit Wayfarer Level 2 and I was wondering, what are these levels used for and what do they mean? Also, how many are there?

There are 5 levels, they bring you nothing but the flex.
levels are based on points, which are noted on your profile. For the maximum level you need 1.000 points.
Ok. So what determines how much my review opinion means on a nomination? For example, is there something where when I feel a nomination is good enough or not at all that makes it to where the review doesn't go to anyone else and my answer determines whether it gets accepted or not?
No, its based entirely on your forum activity, including your likes and insightfuls.

No, it has nothing to do with Wayfarer itself. It only gives you a "rank" on this forum. (But even that is questionable IMO.)
Exactly, all it says is how many support/hate you get and is fully luck based.
Not even that. If you post a lot, sooner or later you will "rank up" even if your posts receive massive amounts of disagreements.There are 3-star people on this forum who are objectively wrong more often than not.
