why is my wayfarer badge in PoGo at 1, while my wayfarer agreements says otherwise?

To extrapolate, the number of agreements on my wayfarer website profile does not match the wayfarer agreements badge/medal in game of pokemon go. Can anyone explain why the values do not match? In PoGo, the number used to match my wayfarere profile number, but fell down to '1' the other day and has stayed there. Thanks in advance!

1. Your Wayfarer agreements doesnt count for the medal if you are in "poor" in Wayfarer.
2. It can also be a known problem like a visual glitch , so your account is out of sync. Jus wait a bit to get it back to normal
My wayfarer medal went from almost platinum when the new level of badge appeared, down to only 4 agreements today. This isn't a result of poor reviewing, or desync of a few reviews!
In fact, thinking about it, I only needed 4 more agreements for platinum when thst level came out. So maybe I got 8 new agreements but I'm just seeing a blank badge now rather than 1504? Who knows. Anyway what a nice thankyou, to have all my badge wiped.

That's such a non answer! Why would 1492 agreements just vanish off a medal and then come back again a few days later? I'm not sure I trust that it will appear again.
I will report it to support because whatever the post above says, this isn't supposed to happen and is not OK! I was looking forward to a new platinum badge and instead I lose all my progress.
It's likely just a Pokemon Go issue and will be resolved. Are your agreements showing in Ingress? If so, you have nothing to worry about.
My agreements are still there in Wayfarer. I don't really use Ingress because I don't like the flickering screen. It is probably just a Pokemon Go issue, but that is my game so it matters to me! My friend lost over 7000 agreements off his medal too this week so this isn't just me.
As for it getting fixed... Niantic do not have a good track record of fixing desync issues in Pokemon Go - just try dodging in a raid battle and see what happens... Your pokemon disappears faster than these agreements on the Wayfarer medal!

The same issue just happened today to me... I have 12xx agreements in Wayfarer, and already had the gold medal and halfway though the new platinum one... This morning when opening the app saw the animation for the silver medal and I was ****!... When I review Wayfarer I see that it is only taking the "nomination accepted" number instead of the total... My rating is still in Great...
so my scores are still not matching up in game and on the website. and my rating on the site dropped to poor with no explanation. what gives niantic? can you give some replies?
You will never get any comments or explanations from Niantic. If your rating drops to Poor or Fair ( = the old Red rating) then anything that you review that goes through will not count towards your stats. This could take a couple of hundred reviews to "work it off", or you could be stuck for months and months.
Well so much for temporary desync, I'm now at 5, one more than when the issue started, down from 1496 before.... So my numbers did update but I'm still 1491 down!
I can't face doing all those reviews again to be honest. I wanted the new platinum medal level, but now I just have a grey medal, not even bronze. Whenever I review more than about 10, I get a cooldown and my rating is dropping too, and I haven't changed how I review from back when I had a green/great rating, other than reviewing in line with the new criteria (rating was dropping before that too).
I wish I knew what was so bad about my reviewing? Maybe I should not be rejecting the common postboxes, supermarkets and the garden statues? Maybe I shouldn't be scoring named-trail markers, churches and artwork highly? I have no idea anymore.
Really quite upset, but I guess it's just another glitch ruining our achievements and enjoyment.
