Also on the horizon, although a bit further out, is adding appeals directly into Wayfarer. With regard to escalating incorrect rejections directly to Niantic, this is something that we’re thinking through. It’s a bit complex as we don’t want to enable correct rejections to be escalated so it’s still a work in progress.
At least in the meantime, can you make it possible to apply an upgrade towards an appeal or a re-review by better-rated wayfarers? Requiring the 100 agreements to appeal should prevent some gratuitous appeal requests.
@NianticCasey-ING I would like to know thoughts exactly on survey markers? What geodetic survey benchmarks are acceptable & which ones are not? I would also like to know more honestly about gravestones. This is a subject that a lot of reviewers do not want to touch on but historical & famous graves could potentially be accepted in game; if they were indeed considered acceptable criteria that is. Could we get some clarification on this?
Gravestones would have to be a notable figure and also has to be 50years old as well to qualify. Ie can’t just be random old stones from people from the community. Think of how this person affected the area or were they famous for something
I would personally try to get a different sour e other than wikipedia, but by the looks of it he should qualify. That being said cemeteries are still considered a sensitive location so they are hard to get accepted regardless of how good of a nomination you have. Wish you good luck!
@Jtronmoore-PGO We have some things accepted in the cemetery here but none of the gravestones so you’re right. They’re hard to get accepted. I’m afraid to submit them honestly & I appreciate your kindness. Thank you for that
Pokemon Go game required 2 gb ram and android version 4.4 at least for now. Is there any plans to increase this limitations?... Thanks in advance.. Good day
What about government properties like "gram panchayet" (village governing institute in Indian village), drama units, drawing schools(cultural schools), sports clubs?
There are so many junk submissions that come up for me (ie standard mail boxes, generic “go this way” street signs, Apartment building name signs, etc). I get frozen repeatedly for rejecting these. These aren’t notable or relevant, and there are thousands upon thousands of these in every city. The new changes allowing natural features (storm ponds seem to be every second or third nomination) and generic businesses (c’mon, a grocery store is not a notable waypoint) is only going to make this even worse.
Additionally, I never accept nominations with poor grammar or spelling in the titles, and those are everywhere as of late (place names are supposed to be capitalized appropriately, and a name should not be a full sentence).
Niantic needs to step up enforcement and ban or suspend users who constantly nominate this garbage. I’ve had perfectly good nominations take months to get approved because of the slough of dumpster fire nominations.
Why my nomination is taking so long to approve? I made it months ago and I don't know why is still on revision, when my rejected ones took less than a week to get the reject notification.
I just have small thing to say and here it goes i think nomination should be open at worldwide platform so that player can get more chance of acceptance of their nomination. The point is game is not related to any particular country or locality. it's a world wide. So nomination should also be a worldwide level. As an Indian player it really hard to play the game without any gym or stops it's literally too 4.5 year to make 4 pokestops and nearby areas. Player and gym ratio is like 16:2 which is quite less. The real problem we face every day is that we can't do anything about our nomination every day aur most eligible nomination gets rejected only because some arrogant please doesn't approves it and that's the truth. In the end i just want to say that it should be done on worldwide level and voting rule should also change what I mean is that AI should accept or rejected nomination if it's fits in the criteria or not..! As AI is impartial to everyone.
Sooooo .... whens the next amas? This was in November, its now February and no mention of another one coming, although the plan was for these to be either monthly or bi monthly @NianticCasey-ING
I do agree with you abut the junk submissions, but as for as being a language police, I'm very lenient about those. I might remove a star or two, but not deny it. Those things can be fixed later, if need be.
Can we get an official ruling on things around private residential property? Things like easements, what happens if a free little library is on the other side of a private residential property fence? Or at the end of a sidewalk infront of a prp. Seems to be a lot of confusion related to this topic
@NianticCasey-ING , my community have a question, can unique identifiers for FFF (fast food franchise) be used or considered as a wayspot? Given that the sign post/identifier is locally unique in design?
For people in pictures generally try to always take the photo with no one in it. Recognizable face and such would be ineligible. If its a super popular spot that you can never not have people around as long as you dont focus in on the people you may be alright. Depends on reviewers though
In public places people don't have a reasonable expectation to privacy. That being said the only nominations I've seen where people in the picture is acceptable is when they are incredibly far in the background.
I had one pokestop eligible last month yet it’s not showing up in Pokemon go. There’s only 1 other pokestop nearby. When will this pokestop appear in Pokemon go. The eligible pokestop should be where my character is standing. I think it’s unfair to only have 1 stop in this area like how am I supposed to play with only 1 stop in my neighbourhood..
If they are too close, one оf them won't show. Having one stop isn't that bad. I had none for 4 years, now I'm super glad I have one. Maybe you can find some other places to nominate. Your question would fit better in another thread though.
@3aseerAbood-PGO They don’t have to be near each other. Search s17 cells in Pokémon Go online. You will figure out what happened when you do. Also download Ingress from the App Store & see if it is a portal on Ingress. If it is. This is exactly what happened

This has been submitted multiple times in my community & has been denied every time @Jtronmoore-PGO https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thomas_Hendricks_Sr.

I want to know..
That's not related to Wayfarer
Please tell where I can ask it. I am still noob.... Learning.
you can ask from settings in pogo I think 🤔 @00HUNDOHUNTER-PGO
Press settings within the Pokémon Go app, press get support, press contact us & type out your question @00HUNDOHUNTER-PGO

I get sick of ugly graffiti nominations too

Maybe they are waiting until after the release of Wayfarer 3.5? Hopefully it is a significant release, like a redesign of the review page.
I had to download ingress in order to see if I would be submitting a duplicate, this would be helpful

What about nominations that have people in the background. Wouldn't that make them in-eligible., Being a photo taken without consent?

Gracias...
