Wayspot Lost?

What happens with the accepted wayspot but that don't appear due to proximity to another? I was wrong to place the wayspot, and I put it too close to an existing one. The location is really wrong. But since it doesn't appear in the games from Niantic they cannot modify it. Is a wayspot lost and I can't reapply? If it is accepted and I request it, would it appear as a duplicate even if it doesn't exist in the games?

You can reapply everything, of course, as long as your POI is not in Ingress. If it is in Ingress, it will get marked as duplicate.

Is accepted in wayfarer, but doesn't appear in Ingres or in Pokémon.
After they accepted it and it didn't appear, I requested it again and they rejected it, and I thought it was in duplicate.
Rejection =/= duplicate

I can also quickly check the database for duplicate if you give me a location and the object.
There is no POI named similar there
That's a random drinking fouintain that shouldn't have been approved in the first place. Consider it a blessing in disguise.

Don't use existing Wayspots as a bases for what is or is not eligible. Criteria changes but also some nominations were incorrectly accepted despite flagrantly not meeting the criteria.
In Spain any such water fountain is easily approved.
