Is there a way to update photos on existing waystops/pokestops?

There are several spots I frequent that have been there for years and are well placed but just have poor. quality photos.I don't want to remove them just take new photos of the exact same thing but with a better camera and lighting. Is this possible?

Until they enable it for Pokemon Go, create an Ingress account and you'll be able to send additional photos (you might need to reach a minimum level)
Another option would be to send a duplicate nomination of the wayspot, in that case the photo is added to the existing wayspot if people mark it as duplicate.
The second was is good, but if you need to waiste upgrades, I wouldnt suggest doing it.
thanks. I already I downloaded ingress the other day, so I might try that route once I have some time off around the holidays.
Do you expect to level up in one day?
It might be better to play each day a little.
