how long does it take for the stop to appear
just wondering how long it takes for a new stop to appear on the map after it's accepted. I have a stop that was approved on november 27th but it's not showing up in the app yet.

Have you checked the Ingress Intel map to make sure it wasn't 20-30 meters from another Wayspot?
If it doesn't appear is be cause is in the same level 17 S2 cell than another Wayspot.
In my country once the pokestop is accepted, appear in the map around 4:00 p.m. local time
@bearice1585-PGO is it now appeared, or is it still missing?
I ask because i have the same question :/
Q: My accepted submission is not ingame. Why?
A: There are three posibilities:
If you send me a location and the name of your submission, I can check it for you.
sorry for not responding sooner, but no it's still not showing up in pogo, just checked ingress and it's there though.
how do you check these cell's and stuff would be helpful as i live in a very tiny place and would like to know where best, i should nominate stops. at this point it's the second point you mentioned. and the stop i question for myself is John Tizya Visitor Ce, supposed to be center, in Old Crow Yukon Canada
the safest way it to use a 3rd party software on the ingress intel map. For this you need an Ingress account and a plugin named IITC. Rest is your own posibility. Officially, 3rp party softwares are prohibited, but like everyone ignores this. A legit posibility is pogomap.info. But this is all communtiy-based and not a good source. At least, you got the s2 cells.
@LukeAllStars-ING I know your comment was a while ago, but I’m having a similar problem and I don’t know if I just need to wait or if it’s too close to another stop. Can I take you up on your offer to check?
it’s near 2702 Lakehurst Rd, Spicewood Tx
(that’s not my address for those wondering)
and it should be called the Lowe Family Legacy Trail Marker. There’s another stop called The Vistas lone Star trail head marker, but idk if it’s too close.
It's in a different cell and more than 20 metres away from the existing Trail Head Marker, so it should appear in both Pokémon Go and Ingress.
If you check your acceptance email, it will tell you that wayspots that are eligible to appear in game can take up to 48 hours to appear. Each game has a daily sync, where once per day, new wayspots that meet the proximity requirements will get added to the game. However, there's a cut off for this to happen that takes place a few hours before the sync actually happens, so that's why they state it can take 48 hours to appear (any that are past the cut off for the current day will sync the following day instead).
It looks like it SHOULD show up in Pokémon. How long ago was it accepted?
It was accepted around 11pm central time last night.
Yeah, that will have been after the cut off to sync yesterday, so you should see it appear in Pokémon Go in a little under 5 hours from now, and then in Ingress a few hours after that.
