Pokémon go Wayfarer badge reset

I had a platinum Pokémon go wayfarer badge yesterday with over 10,000 agreements. This morning it isn’t even bronze. (23 total wayfarer agreements).

this is a rather critical error given that platinum badges are now critical for advancement in higher Pokémon go levels, and now I’ve had one wrongfully taken away from me after a lot of hard work. (It’s not easy getting 10,000 agreements, or even the 1500 required for the platinum badge).

please advise me when Niantic will restore my platinum badge. Thank you.

    Q: My medal is not accurate/I lost agreements on my medal. What to do?

    A: You only have to wait for a few days. Your account is out of sync.

    While @LukeAllStars-PGO is correct that this is usually the case, we looked into this issue and confirmed that there IS a syncing issue between what is currently shown and synced with individual games and your agreement records.

    DO NOT WORRY: your information is not lost, it is still accurately tracked on the backend. The issue is with the pushing of info to the game/medal.

    We are working on this issue and should have a resolution in the next couple of days.

    Good news - the team has pushed a fix for this bug earlier today. You should see your metrics refresh in-app to reflect the correct numbers. One caveat, you may need to perform some reviews to see the update take affect.

    I was also affected by this bug, but after doing some reviews over the weekend in an effort to try and update my badge, it did not work as I hoped when Monday rolled by. I was at 1580 on my wayfarer badge, which is what shows when I log in on my computer, but in the game it still shows 14. Also, I believe because of this, my rating dipped from Great all the way down to Poor. Please let me know what else I can try to have this fixed or should I just wait for the next fix?

    I've done additional reviews in that same period, and while my upgrade bar increases, my rating nor badge have changed in game.

    Yeah. That happened to me, too. I just found it out just today. But since there is a general issue, as I see, I hope it will be solved soon for all of us!

    Thanks for confirming, it seems like there are two issues at play here separate from the issues that the OP was experiencing, which was due to a syncing issue causing incorrect agreement counts to contribute to in-app medals.

    Ratings will change based on (among other things) your decisions' agreements with Niantic reviewed Wayspots. It's likely that your rating dropped correctly due to this feature. This will then contribute to the second issue, that agreements made while your rating is in the Poor or Fair bucket will not count towards your medal progress.

    You may have misunderstood my post. Let me explain it in more detail so you understand my situation.

    Prior to December 10, 2020, my rating was "Great," and I believe I had roughly 1500 agreements and processed up to this point, maybe a little more. I had the platinum Wayfarer badge in Pokemon Go, and I've been raising my agreements and processed percentage up. I have never hit a patch where I was not getting agreements whatsoever. Suddenly, on December 10, 2020, when I went to review, I noticed that my rating dipped from Great to Poor. Confused, I also noticed that in Pokemon Go, my badge went from Platinum at over 1500 down to 11, which made no sense. I do believe in that time, I did maybe 15-20 reviews, so does that mean it only takes that many reviews to bring someone's rating down from great to poor? After two weeks of finding no answers and being afraid to review, I did my first review. A few moments later, I picked up an agreement, but the rating disappeared. It no longer highlighted "poor" but didn't specify what my rating was, either.

    I have a friend who ran into a similar situation where her badge went from Platinum with well over 2000 agreements to her name down to 14 agreements, and her rating also dipped to poor. The thing about her is she did not even do any reviews for the past few days prior to the dip, so how would that be explained?

    Now, I understand that agreements I get at this point won't be added to my badge, but the fact is my issue should be similar to the OP. Furthermore, how is it that my agreements and processed percentage against my total reviews would continue to go up yet my rating wouldn't?

  • Also, just to add to my first paragraph, the rating remained unknown for about a week, and then it went back to "poor."

  • Hi, @InfiniteMystery-PGO I've got the same issue on wayfarer. 1.4k valutation done in a "Great" status, a night, my status dropped in "Poor" and I've lost the golden badge, since before the platinum badges came to PoGo. Since this night my badge hasn't came back and I followed the advice, doing some reviews on the platform, posted by @NianticCasey-ING and nothing changed. I sincerely want an answer for this problem and, if there's, a fix to this situation.

  • When I started wayfarer a couple of weeks ago my first 9 agreements were successfully updated to meu badge. But now, with over 100 agreements after a few weeks I'm still with just 9 agreements in my badge. In addition, my rating dropped to poor right in the second day with just just dozens of reviews and with no reasonable explanation, since I've being diligently following all the rules to determine what should and what should not be a good pokestop. Since it happened by the same time as what you guys are reporting, I believe I'm facing the same issue.

    I had a similar problem, I asked to delete my ingress username (email) that I use in pokémongo, after a few months I tried to re-link my username and my email was unlinked, I lost medal ...

    Hi! I’ve got the problem as well - my wayfarer badge in Pokémon Go is not synced. I’ve contacted the support and they told me that it’s gonna be fixed and if not, I should contact that thread.

    my badge is still at 23 (since mid-December).

    Until this day I have the syncing error.

    When the badge first came out, I had score over 1000 (now this number is over 2000).

    Yet in Pokémon go, the number dropped down to 2!!! (TWO)....

    I had contacted the support earlier, and they said give it some time and it will sync. Sadly this hadn't happened still!

    What is the fix?

    Yet another issue for myself along with the total lack of email notifications; I also have 1 (one) agreement showing on PoGo for the medal but several hundred showing on Wayfarer and it's been like that for a month now, when will this issue be resolved @NianticCasey-ING?

    Good day. For half a year I have been writing in support of all three games. now there is an open ticket in PoGo since December. In Ingress I have 3243 points in my medals. Since entering the medal in PoGo, this is the second time my Wayfarer rating is Good or higher, but the medal in PoGo has never been awarded The Ingress medal is on the rise right now. I have been writing for a year now that most likely there is no synchronization due to the login methods, I described everything in detail in the support ticket in the game in PoGo that has been opened since December. Can you help please. I don't know where to write anymore🤦🤦
