Pokemon Go no reward for wayfinders

It is not giving rewards to people whose proposal is accepted in GO while in Ingress if it is accepted they give you AP and a key. GO reviewers are still not taken into account because now they have created a reward system for those who scan with AR from pokemon, incense and other items. While the reviewers are given the detail of reviewing the wayfarer rules to evaluate up to 100 proposals to win an improvement, those who propose are given a job go to the place take a photo give description and take a 360 photo and no reward and if it is accepted the proposal cannot appear. The GO and Ingress reviewers are not taking into account and they are the ones who give a great contribution to the game without any reward.

The key and AP are meaningless, the main benefit is that you've added a new wayspot.
If you don't like to review, then you can wait until other people review your nomination. Oh, does it take too long waiting? then review so the queue moves up.
Yes, in ingress the wayspot appears but not in Go it may appear or not. There is not so much benefit.
Check the map before nominating. That has been known for too long.
Of the maps, all the people who propose must know it not before nominating. There is no tool that offers the game or warns this observation in ingress. You should not worry because everything appears if it is accepted and with a reward. Now both games have created a reward system for scanners that should apply to reviewers and proponents.
No, in Ingress there's still the 20 meters rule, so not everything that it's nominated and approved is added to the game.
Rewards for submitters simply aren't a good idea. Said rewards would encourage people to always use all their submissions, even if there aren't any good candidates left in their area.
There used to be a badge in Ingress for accepted submissions, but that was ended years ago and will presumably never come back.
To be fair, 1000AP in Ingress doesn't really mean much. Would you like 1000XP in logo for a submission success? A Key is pretty useful but there's no in-game equivalent in PoGO.
Honestly, the most meaningful thing for me is having photo credit on my Ingress contributions. That, along with ability to use Gallery photos, is why I almost exclusively nominate in Ingress. And Niantic has shown no interest in adding PoGO photo contributions and doesn't seem likely to add gallery options any time soon, despite hinting at it as early as the launch of this website.
As a PoGo player I don't think there's a need for rewards per se. Even if you were rewarded 1000 XP, it doesn't really mean much because you can get 1000 XP easily in game for much less effort, e.g. catch with an excellent throw, just like how in Ingress you can get 1000 AP by deploying a few resos. 1000 XP/AP is a token amount.
I think the "reward" of having a quality submission appear in game is sufficient.
Agreed, stardust would be a better reward (since you can use that up quickly) but again 1000 would be a token amount.
I think I would prefer if the people with a great rating that review a lot had more nominations and that people who successfully got a lot of things approved got more nominations. That would mean they know the criterias and would most likely improve the number of valid candidates.
Getting a gift from your new wayspot might be fun in PoGO. Then again, would be difficult with Sync times and not every wayspot being something.
Oh good one @GearGlider-PGO ! A gift would actually be a good reward, roughly akin to a portal key in Ingress. There's a difficult case of what happens when you're already capped on gifts but I would vote that it show up anyway.
Agreed, if anything I'd prefer having a gift from the Wayspot I created. Given I primarily submit stuff in remote areas that are not easy to go back to, being able to send a gift from something I created out in the sticks would be grand.
Actually that's not a bad idea. If your Pogo submission gets approved and it turns into a stop, you should get a gift for it. Although they really need to address the poor wording of the emails: while in Ingress it will tell you that it is too close to other portals, Pokemon Go will just give the generic eligible email even if it was submitted on top of something.
One day, Niantic will have the technology where a Pokestop and gym conversion will immediately appear in the game just like accepted portals appear instantly, instead of having this weird as time-specific sync system.
