pokestop not added to pokemon go

My candidacy was approved, but it was not added to the pokemon go game. There is 100m from the closest pokestop but it came to the ingress game.

If your submission is in Ingress but not in PGO, it is in a full lvl 17 s2 cell.
I don't understand what does that mean.
There is a rule named "one POI per lvl 17 s2 cell", to prevent the system from big clusters. You can check the s2 cells here, just put both levels on 17:
https://s2.sidewalklabs.com/regioncoverer/
Check for example this guide https://digiex.net/threads/plan-pokestop-submissions-in-s2-l14-l17-cells-with-iitc-mobile.15729/
There are tons of similar info if you search a little to find one that can explain it in the way that you prefer.
https://www.pogomap.info/ is another helpful page to check to see. S17 cells are what you want to be looking at
Y my pokestop not getting review
I tried to post a photo but it didn’t appear so let’s try this again. If you use pogomap, tap settings, tap visual & then go to S2 cells & scroll down to level 17. Then you can check this cell & see if another portal or pokestop is in the same cell as the one you submitted. If there is this could be why it never appeared. The rule is one pokestop per level 17 cell. Either way regardless of which option you choose from mine & the others posted above they are all great choices. Good luck & I hope you get this figured out
Pogomap relies on community updating the POIs. As a consequence, it's often inaccurate and not up to date. I strongly recommend not to use it.
Edit: For clarity; not to use for nomination planning.
pogo map not updating as fast as ingress my nomination came to pogo after 12 hours
I use it for mapping out stops in my area. I just update it myself
I also mark the new gyms there to help people visiting my play area. (And use Ingress Intel map to get the exact coordinates.)
Still, for nomination planning it's unreliable. There have been several threads with "but I checked Pogomap and I couldn't see it".
Yeah i check both ingress and pogomap for nominating. I also have been the only person nominating and updating the map via ingress link to get proper coordinates.
I’m sorry @Apromodo-PGO. I didn’t realize you were new to this. My apologies. I recommend using Ingress to use to check & see if it is in game. If it is on Ingress chances are good that it could appear in game. If it’s in Ingress & if it pops up in Pokémon Go I recommend using Pogomap to mark the map so you know what cell you submitted in. Everywhere where you see more than one thing you want to submit you will run into this issue. S2 cells are a mathematical mechanism that helps computers translate Earth’s spherical 3D shape into 2D geometry. You can think of them as tiny units of geography that computers understand and developers love to use such as Niantic, & others. S17 cells are used to make Pokestops, remember there can only be one pokestop in each s17 cell in Pokémon go. In Ingress there can be more than one. S14 cells are what you use to make Pokestops into gyms. It will make a gym when you have 2 Pokestops, 6 Pokestops, & 20 Pokestops in the same s14 cell. It will be a life saver, I promise. There is a link below to use with info about cells. Also, what time did your nomination get accepted. After they get accepted they don’t automatically appear in game so this could be the issue as well. After a nomination gets accepted they appear in game around the same time every day. This could be the issue as well. If it isn’t in Ingress. I can guarantee it is not in game though. If you need any further help feel free to reach out & I would be more than happy to help. I see now that your nomination is in ingress & not in Pokémon go. Therefore I assume it’s in the same s17 as a nearby ingress portal
Hi,
I have a similar problem. My nominated Pokestop was approved and appeared in Ingress, but not in Pokemon Go. It is the only Pokestop in the s17 cell. There are 18 stops in the s14 cell (15 in Pokemon Go), but none are close to my nomination.
Since the nomination was only recently accepted, is it possible that Niantic takes way longer to add the stop in Pogo than Ingress? I'm confused. Help.
Theres a certain time based on your area every day when pokestops appear. They have a set time when they appear every day & it is always the same time (unless Niantic is having issues) For me in the mid eastern US it is 2pm. If it gets accepted at a certain time it could also appear the next day as well. It all depends on the time. The 2pm time could be the same for you but, it could also be different. I know for sure that someone (anyone here from the area) will know the exact time better than me. I’ve seen @LukeAllStars-ING comment on the topic before so he is more knowledgeable than me on this topic. Take care @FelicyCat-PGO
Thanks a lot :)
The sync at the DACH area (Germany, Austria, Schwitzerland) is at 8PM the same or next day after the POI got approved.
