Reasons for rejection

I am enjoying being a Wayfarer and contributing to the community. However, I feel there needs to be more transparency shared with regard to why a nomination is rejected. It is not clear if it is because of the quality of the photo, concerns over safety of the location, because it cannot be verified using Google, or the description. Do others agree?

English mails contain the rejection criteria. You have to submit while your phone is set to english.

One of the rejections I have seen is merely: “Nomination does not meet acceptance criteria.” This could be anything right?
No, that specifically means that reviewers think the PoI itself is ineligible. If there was something wrong with the location (safe access, school, private residential property, mismatched location etc.) or the submission (bad photo, title or description etc.), there would be some sort of specific feedback on that.
That being said, rejection reasons in the e-mails are often completely off.
