Just a quick question:
Does enviromental centers count as farms?
On my latest nomination, this was one of the rejection reasons, which sounds incorrect in my eyes. Is there any clarification about this topic?

For me, an enviromental center is not a farm, as long as it is publicy accessable. If the objects are meant for visiting, I dont see a problem on them. For me, this is absolutely okay.

Environmental Centre - yes, usually lots of signs and info boards at these sorts of places. An old tractor - no. Generic object / temporary location / old farm equipment.
I wouldnt necesairily agree. The tractor can be a historical object and I dont think that there are that many of its kind still existing. Also, it represents the old farming (the enviromental centre was a farm once) and also bringing an interesting story. With a good kind of information (or a sign) absolutely a great object as a POI. Temporaily: Okay, thats possible. But I found a picture from 2017 where the tractor was at the exact same location. The tractor is on a tree stomp and its wheels look like they are hanging mid air. Google maps also shows it. For me, not temporaily.
I agree with @LukeAllStars-PGO. This looks interesting and eligible to me. I'd definitely resubmit and hope for better reviewers.

The only problem i see is the tractor looks like it may still work. So it could be seen as temporary. Ive gotten old tractors accepted in my town before but they obviously didnt work anymore
For me, it looks permanent. The wheels are not touching the ground, the tractor is on a stomp. Also, if there is any evidence the tractor was there 2017 it should count as permanent.

Same as before. If this wreck of a tractor is an exhibit, it needs a sign. Otherwise, you might be resubmitting for a long time as by itself I don't think it's eligible. Linking into a Forum discussion on here is not going to help much.
I understand this point, but then every other object would need a sign aswell. For me, a sign isnt that important. It would be great to have but not a must-have. I like the information given, alsl about its history. It seems to be a try and error submission, sadly.

I even put the focus more on a small sign with the name of the tractor (so I got a sign :D ).
Because nothing in your photo says "Environmental Center" in any way, or gives eny indication this is some sort of exhibit. All you see is a wrecked tractor.

I had a look at the homepage and the Gut Karlshoehe looks like an interesting place. I am curious why you are not nominating the environmental centre instead. Is it already a waypoint? If you are deadset on nominating the old tractor, I would retake the photo to make it pop. Sunny day, no puddle of mud, side-view, and lower perspective for a convincing photo (These are just my preferences). I would address it straight away in the title and the description that this is a permanent installation and not a farm because it looks like you're losing your readers. Sth like: Titel: Installation Alter Traktor '****' Beschreibung: Im Umweltzentrum Gut Karlshoehe dient das als permanentes Austellungsstueck verwendete Modell eines Traktor XYZ um einen Einblick in (keine Ahnung, such dir etwas aus wie, das baeuerliche Leben) zu geben und ist gleichzeitig ein beliebtes Fotomotiv in diesem Bildungszentrum fuer Nachhaltigkeit.
I am trying to submit as many POIs there as possible. The environmental center itself has a POI but that's only a random house. There is another picture of a sign but that way lower liked than the house.

I really like that suggestion. I already tried submitting with a collage as the supplemental picture, but that didn't help as well and tried two different pictures:
As I have said linkning into a Forum discussion here, where some people say its ok, and TELLING the reviewer that this is "acceptable" is not going to help you with reviewers. Can you even see the forum posts without having to fully log in?
It seems to be an interesting place! If you want to give it another shot, I'd just try a different angle. It is just nitpicking, but it might give you the little extra push you need. Good luck!

I found a sign. Sadly, this looks very temporaily and would be located in the 20m radius of a different POI.
May not be what you want to hear but don't upgrade it. Upgrades are useless for things that aren't universally accepted, like a gazebo a footbridge, etc...
I've found that upgrades are where good wayspots go to .... (Niantic doesn't like my word).
I may also try to add some context around the tractor. I cant read that language but if you can include some detials on the make or when it last operated or something it may be helpful.
Also .... don't upgrade it.
its upgrade or wait over two years at this city. Not upgrading is not a possibility.
