Three rejected Pokestops
Hello,
I would like to appeal three rejected Pokestops: two that I reported as invalid, but I keep getting emails that everything is fine; and a third one that is deemed a duplicate but it is not. Below I will list each one of them with photos, coordinates and explanation.
1.A fake Pokegym location
Title of the Wayspot: Football club fan graffiti
Location: https://intel.ingress.com/intel?ll=45.530583,18.584699&z=18&pll=45.53129,18.584948
City: Čepin (Cepin)
Country: Croatia

Additional information: While this graffiti does exist, someone put its location in their backyard. I submitted the photo of the graffiti from far away, where you can see the playground and the surrounding area, and a closer one, where you can see another graffiti next to it (the second graffiti that is next to it is also a Pokestop, name: Martina forever in our hearts graffiti, location: https://intel.ingress.com/intel?ll=45.528276,18.584874&z=19&pll=45.528075,18.585277). I also submitted a real world view of the real location in Google Maps. Since Google Maps version is 10 years old, you won't be able to see what the area looks like at the moment, but you can definitely see the location of second graffiti (in real world view Google Maps, as well as the photo with the closer look).
2. A plaque that has been removed
Title of the Wayspot: Memory Plaque For The Fallen Heroes
Location: https://intel.ingress.com/intel?ll=45.523518,18.564453&z=18&pll=45.523587,18.56489
City: Čepin (Cepin)

Additional information: This Pokestop used to be a memorial plaque but the plaque has been removed last year. I reported this Pokestop two times already but I keep getting rejected. On Google Maps that plaque is still hanging there but Google Maps hasn't been updated since 2011. I posted photos of the same place and screenshots from Google Maps so you can compare the area. There is a giant monument to the left as a proof that it's the same area (the area has been heavily renovated last year).
3.A duplicate that doesn't exist in the game
Title of the Wayspot: Spomenik Palim Borcima
Location: https://intel.ingress.com/intel?ll=45.523518,18.564453&z=18&pll=45.523598,18.564489
City: Čepin (Cepin)

Additional information: Earlier this year I nominated this monument to be a Pokestop. I was very surprised when I received an email saying that it is a duplicate. This Pokestop is a portal in Ingress, but in Pokemon Go, it's not a Pokestop. When you open the app, there is nothing there. It's not just me, my friends also don't see it as a Pokestop. I submitted a photo of the monument, a screenshot of the same Portal in Ingress and a screenshot of the same area in Pokemon Go (from my app). I am sorry if I am reporting this in a wrong place, I searched for this bug online but couldn't find anything.
If anything is missing, you need additional proof or explanation, just say it. I'll provide you with everything I can/have.

Not all Wayspots will appear in Pokemon Go. That's expected behavior. When you nominate 'Pokestops' you're actually nominating Ingress portals that MAY appear to be Pokestops, depending on distance from other portals/Pokestops.
Mhm, mhm. I get it now. I had a suspicion it might be something like that 'cause there is a Pokestop nearby; it's the one I described and reported at 2).
Thanks for answering!
Anything else I need to submit for the first two? Additional proof?
Thanks for the appeal, Trainer. Upon reviewing the additional information provided, we have decided to remove the Wayspots in question.
Moreover, while some nominations may be deemed eligible by the community of reviewers on Niantic Wayfarer for inclusion into Niantic’s location database, they may not necessarily be added into every Niantic game. After a nomination is approved by reviewers, there is an additional automated review that determines whether the nomination is an appropriate fit for each particular Niantic game. Each game has their own set of criteria for this step, so some nominations may be accepted into one game but not another.
