As in the title. I'm interested to know if somebody had been able to have an idea of how many votes (or reject reasons) were enough for let pass (or not) 1 nomination in the past (I mean the past vote system wich I don't know how it was working, before 2019) and if somebody has been able to have an idea of the same situation now.
I can't find anything online, it seems to be secret.

It is secret - nobody knows any numbers, though Niantic have said more than one person has to review a submission.
Nobody knows.... only Niantic....
Nobody knows. We do know that it is not a fixed number, and that the total depends partially on the ratings of the people who review the submission. Niantic has explicitly told us this.
I suspect but cannot prove that a submission that has a very strong level of agreement between approvers (nearly everyone approves it, or nearly everyone rejects it) will finish before one with a lot of people in the middle or one where people are all over the map.
I believe @Kroutpick-PGO had tested it earlier with streetview and the result was between 75 and 150. But I am not sure whether this is correct.
@LukeAllStars-PGO A few different people have tried that. I'm not at all convinced that the test provides accurate results since it's impossible to differentiate between reviewers and non-players viewing the photosphere, and with individuals viewing it multiple times. The latter is probably a stronger effect than the former.
Thats true. Sadly, we will propably never get an answer on that very interesting question...
It very much is a secret to prevent people from using that knowledge to further game the system. In fact, I think the actual number is not fixed and will vary from region to region, the reviewers' individual rating (thus their weight), and how strong of a consensus there is for any particular candidate.
Yep.
Also agree with @Hosette-ING that this is in no way a "scientific evidence" but can still give an idea of required votes, like it's probably safe to say that it's "somewhere under 200 reviews" or "not more than 250".
A lot of things can influence this
During the OPR era, it was described as vaguely like this;
* a minimum (undisclosed) number of reviews are required
* no maximum number of reviews are required
* if, after at least the minimum number of votes have been cast, the nomination’s score exceeded a (undisclosed) threshold, the submission is immediately accepted
* if, after at least the minimum number of votes have been cast, the nomination’s score was below a (undisclosed) threshold, the submission is immediately rejected
* a nomination whose score never reaches either threshold may linger for much longer
Niantic’s wayfarer devs will be tweaking the algorithms on a regular basis, to make sure it works well overall. And they’re hardly beholden to keep it exactly as previously described. I never found out what happens to those nominations that ran out of available reviewers before reaching any of those “threshold” values.
It sucks because who creates multiple accounts just for vote, this individual can decide alone what to let/ to not let pass , with 4 or more accounts is also easy to get agreements. I'm worried that's happening in my community and there's no way for understand if it's true or not. That might be Off Topic , but knowing how many people voted our nomination (and their reputation, also if anonymous) could be useful.
This is happening in my community.
It does indeed suck.
