Hello ! I've some question,I can't find an answer for.

Why all portals aren't pokestops or gyms?

Why this decision of use cells?

Why actually still exists those old groups of pokestops in 1 cell also after the AMA of November ??

Why in the past was possible to have more than 1 pokestop for cell and now it's not possible anymore??

Earlier, you could edit PokeStops into a different cell to make them appear even though they are normally in a full s2 cell. When this system got abused too hard, Niantic changed it.

Why all portals aren't pokestops or gyms?

The Pokemon Go was primary designed to search for and capture Pokemon. Pokestops where nothing more than resupply points that allowed players to continue capturing more Pokemon. Gyms themselves were nothing more than a means to collect coins to us in the cash shop. So there wasn't a need to have many stops or gyms in a given area. Any changes to game design must also pass through the Pokemon Company.

If all Portals were Stops, gameplay in some places would be far too crowded as Stops, Gyms and Pokemon would overlap on screen. PoGo and HPWU have larger distances betwween Stops than in Ingress. Ingress is played differently.

Niantic have to have some sort of sysyem to divide up the world and decide where Stops or Portals appear. The cell sysyem works worldwide and the cells can scale down to very small cells. The cell system is a simple way of doing this.

If Pokestops were in place before the new rules those are fine. If any of these older stops get moved then the new rules apply to them too.

Before the rules changes, there was a lot of abuse of the Waypoint editing system, people would make a Stop and then move it to a new area or cell to cluster stops together or trigger a new Gym because people figured out how many stops per cell were needed for a Gym. The only real way to prevent this was to put restrictions on the edit distances and the number of stops in an S17 cell.

All portals are not gym because we don't need so many stop to play correctly.

At least with one stop and one gym, we can enjoy the game. More is better, but we do not need too many stop on the same place.

The only concern is campaign. In city there is a lot of pokestop, but outside cities, there is not enought stop. Niantic should allow pokéstop on natural places in order to make the game better.

I have seen it be possible for 2 spots in a cell but only if one is an existing poi and another was a sponsored stop from a business. But normally just 1 per cell

Ingress doesn't have things spawning between portals. Occasionally someone will drop something on the ground to be picked up by themselves or someone else later, but that's a fairly rare occurrence. Even without there being spawns between portals it can sometimes be quite difficult to select a specific portal in Ingress... you have to zoom way in or be extremely precise with where you touch. There is also a multi-select mechanism for when your touch is ambiguous, but even that can be a pain in the **** to deal with.

PoGo has spawns, obviously. HPWU has more density than PoGo and has both trace and item spawns. As someone who plays all three games (though my "home" game is Ingress) I can tell you that HPWU's density is too high... I am constantly having to zoom all the way in and spin the screen to get to a trace that's right on top of an inn/greenhouse/fortress, and half the time I still miss it.

There are places where I find PoGo's density a bit too much as well but moreso in the other two games.

The density "problem" if cell districtions were dropped would require UI changes in Pogo. So far it seems Niantic isn't willing to use resources (money) for that.

The HPWU "trace that's right on top of an inn/greenhouse/fortress" @Hosette-ING mentions isn't tied to just high density places. More like bad coding / bad UI.
