Does this diner really “not meet acceptance criteria?”
I am at a loss to guess why this nomination was rejected! What criteria wasn’t met? I can’t figure it out what’s wrong... should I not have used the diner’s sign at the primary photo? Thanks for any help, folks!
PS- This was in “queue” for a while, but then within MINUTES of this getting upgraded, it was rejected. Sounds familiar to anyone else?

The description is bad, there needs to be more information why this should be an eligeble restaurant. Restaurants in total are Hard to get accepted, no real clarification on them other than "no unspecial restaurants". Maybe put a weblink to its Website or any Website where this restaurant gets suggested.

Does it have any awards or had it appeared in any local or national guides. Average looking "same as the one down the street" restaurants like this need a lot of good supporting info to get approved.

I wouldn't completely orientate on existing wayspots. The criteria changed a lot between the early years of Ingress and today. Now, there are more types of criteria to follow than earlier.
Writing a lot makes the reviewer think that you actually care for what you are submitting.

If they won any awards show proof with it. Is it a local hotspot show proof of that, anything that makes it unique mention that. Business’s are one of the hardest thing sto get accepted. Good luck:)

Thank you for the honest evaluation! I kept the description brief (matching it to the diners already in-game). I assumed more supporting text would come off as over-selling the place or just go unread. I’ll have to resubmit with more next time.
