Are these acceptable or are they generic & seen as mass produced? I know artistic unique ones are acceptable but wanted to get a better perspective from others. Acceptable or not? Thank you for your input

1* Doesn't meet criteria as long as they are not visually unique and have an information sign. Normal birdhouses are generic and mass-produced + not visually unique/with no historical value.

We tried submitting this prior to the change in criteria, I don’t know the rejection reason as it wasn’t my submission. I didn’t think a birdhouse like this would be massed produced and generic though. Thoughts?

Birdhouses weren’t in the ‘what is this?’ until it was updated recently.

Notes:

• Picture was just from Google Streetview for illustration purposes for this post, I totally know it’s not eligible.
• I know that ‘what is this’ is not a determination factor but before they weren’t even on the list so you couldn’t complete the ‘what is this’ if asked.

It a 2-3* nomination, depending on the wayfarers thoughts, this might count as art -> great place for exploration. But I (and probably most other wayfarers) would more go with 2* because it is not that special.
