Posting this here because this one really confuses me. I'm not sure how much more it can be improved.
Firstly, I'd like to point out to https://community.wayfarer.nianticlabs.com/discussion/12810/an-update-on-wayspots-in-india#latest which suggests the "." rejection is a result of a manual Niantic review.

Photo. Just crop the cars off, no need to tempt your luck with "license plate" rejection. As a bonus closer zoom makes it easier to read the text.
Sidenote/tip, change the ratio which your camera uses, 16;9 or 1:1, there's way too much wasted space.

Points noted. Though I'd still like a comment from @NianticCasey-ING or others on why there is a "." rejection. From what I gather there isn't anything technically wrong.
That's a glitch. It used to happen that al emails not in English were like that. They fixed it but still affects some nominations from time to time.
All my nominations were in English. And I got a dozen in a row rejected like this. Meaning it was definitely a manual review.
