Pokestops approval - process time frame

Good day!
I have submitted a pokestop nomination 2 months ago, and I have also upgraded it, it has been "in voting" for over a month!
How long does usually take to get it approved (or rejected)!
This is really a very long process!

It heavily depends on location of nominations. If its in city, or close to it you may wait a really long time before approval or rejection, and I think this is the case here.
It can take anywhere from a couple of days to a couple of years.
I just want to be sure so I ask this: When you mean that you upgraded it, do you mean you clicked on "Upgrade next" on your nomination and when you recieved upgrade for voting it was upgraded (near it's title there is "Upgraded" not "Upgrade next")? Or you just clicked "Upgrade next" but you don't review or review a little and you don't have any upgrades to give to your nomination so it still have "Upgrade next" near the nomination title?
If you did first thing ("Upgrade next" became "Upgraded"), when your nomination got "Upgraded" text near it's title? Maybe it was after some time and it will be reviewed in a few days? If it got it pretty fast, then it might be some kind of a bug or you live in location with really big nomination database and all of them must be upgraded to go in voting - in that case it's as sogNinjaman-ING wrote, it might take a lot of time for it to be reviewed. I know it's bad, but we can't do much about it, for now at least.
But if you only did second thing (Only clicked "Upgrade next" and it still has this near title and not "Upgraded") then your nomination wasn't really upgraded and is in normal voting process. To get it upgraded for real you need upgrade that you will get after reviewing others nominations and get about 100 agreed points from similiar voting on noinations with other people, after this your nomination will become upgraded and will be reviewed faster than normal (it's hard to say how much faster, as this depends on your location as was mentioned before, but still it will be much faster). I know this option might not be the case, but sometimes people confuse "Upgrade next" with "Upgraded" so I wanted to be sure it's not that case.
