Nomination rejected twice for invalid reasons, can anyone suggest what I can do different?
I have had a nomination for a memorial bench in a park rejected twice. Both times the reason given made no sense.
First claimed there were people in the photo. There were no people in any photo submitted and I even made the effort to avoid my own shadow.
Second was that it was a temporary or seasonal structure. It is clearly a permanent park bench in both images submitted.
Please can anyone suggest how I might submit it again in a way to get it fairly reviewed?
Below is the second attempt I made at the request..

Who was that person?
Why is that bench a PoI?
Your supporting info doesn't tell anything interesting.
It's just toxic wayfarers
@WheelTrekker-ING is correct. With info on the person & why it was placed there it can get accepted. You have to “sell” your nomination to reviewers. This can pass you just have to “sell it”. One recommendation I can give is to take a closer picture of the tag on the bench as your cover photo. That normally for some reason helps. Next show further back photo of the bench as supporting photo. If there is no photosphere of this area that can also help. I would also name this Joyce Tallent Memorial Bench if you submit it again
A 360 degree photosphere can help reviewers find & see all around POI
The reviewers are trying to unsuccessfully "message" you instead of picking "other rejection criteria" as they should. This simply doesn't meet criteria.
So without any important information this bench isnt eligible. You have to show how such person is important to the community if you say they are. Are they a historical figure? Did they have a significant impact in the community? The only other way a bench would be eligible is if it is artistically unique.
A memorial bench for a local person. Not eligible.
I've had and reviewed that exact POI, do you know what a Google search of Joyce Tallent Stoke Gifford turns up, a mention of a deceased estate and thats it.
Nothing about what she did for the community, no local newspaper articles, absolutely zip to prove she was what you claimed and that this was nothing but a generic memorial bench.
I actually bothered to search that because I was feeling generous, unlike some who wouldn't bother and quite honestly I couldn't blame them as its not their job to research your submissions.
If you want a POI accepted, you need to provide the information and proof that the person was important to the community, which you have failed to do twice.
I fully understand some of the reasons given in the responses, thanks.
I just find it frustrating that if these were the reasons I was given I may not have submitted it a 2nd time. The reasons I was given both times (people in photo and temp structure) are clearly false.
It would help those submitting if the reject reasons were accurate, allowing them to submit better nominations next time.
If a bench does not have a plate regarding a person's name, then it's "not" memorial.
