Do You Agree With Me This Trail Marker Has Safe Pedestrian Access?

Top rejection reason given is "lack of safe pedestrian access" and at least one person also thought the photograph I too was of "poor quality". The trail marker is on a paved path/sidewalk. One would not need to be anywhere near the road to interact with this Wayspot.

Yes, I agree with you that this trail marker has safe pedestrian access. And photo quality is good enough. The object is clearly identifiable. I don't see any reason to reject this.

Why people not like to accept trail markers? Niantic says they are good to accept. I have an easier time of getting postboxes accepted and they are supposed to be more controversial. I have never had a postbox rejected and I have nominated fifteen in total yet I have had several trail markers rejected even though they should have an easier time being accepted.
My last trail marker was rejected as abuse so consider yourselve lucky :P
And some people are still defending those reviewers that pick random rejection reasons just to troll.
I had a trail marker rejected as explicit yesterday! Also for location, when it's on street view and the supporting picture shows a huge block of flats which is also very easily seen on street view! And of course the standard "does not meet criteria", when it's an official permanent marker for a named trail. People just seem to hate them.
This trail marker submission looks excellent to me, I would have scored it very highly. There's certainly pedestrian access, but this particular rejection comes up a lot, and always makes me cross because people seem to forget that the trail itself provides safe access, so that even for markers on the edge of a road where the trail crosses the road, people forget that you can walk down the trail to the edge of the road, access the marker, and then if they find the road dangerous, they can simply turn around again and walk back along the trail, never stepping off the safe pedestrian area the trail provides!

As you say its highly unlikely for trail marker not to have safe access, as they can access the POI FROM THE TRAIL !!!!!
Yep, it's a never ending source of frustration! Oh well. These sorts of people who do it are probably not on this forum, so probably preaching to the choir on this
I reviewed this one and thought it was a good nomination, but it was hard to find the marker on streetview to confirm its existence, but I did eventually manage it. Streetview started from a bit of distance and the wrong angle.
When I first saw the photo, I thought maybe it was sideways. Maybe the person who flagged "poor photo" didn't look closer.
If I was to be nitpicky about the photo it is slightly dark. But that being said the only way to improve that is to take a picture on a not overcast day
My last trail marker rejection was because it was a live animal.
My trail markers and footbridges were rejected many times for having no pedestrian access or for being natural features.
Yes it has safe access, the photos okay, I have seen curent stops with worse photos, it is a little hard to read but I think the person was being too picky
I'd say that has safe pedestrian access.
