Is the nomination really close to an existing Pokéstop or gym? If it is within ~20m of an existing wayspot then it will never appear in any of the games.

This could be due to the proximity of the existing Wayspots. While nominating again, please ensure that there aren't many Wayspots nearby and it should help. Please check out our articles on Wayspot Eligibility which should guide you through the process.
