Ingress nomination gets stuck on picture enlarge.

I’ve tried to see if this is already a known issue but can’t seem to find anything. When making a nomination via Ingress I select an image and when I enlarge it to make sure I have the correct one etc it get stuck stuck on the enlarged image screen and the X button to close it does not work. Only way to get it to work is to restart the game and start again. It’s annoying. Anyone else or just me ??
