If Niantic thinks it's the natural collateral damage from the way they decided to run things and they don't intend to change, at least come here, say it's working as intended and give this a closure.
Leaving this In investigation since March without any answer is ridiculous.
they just need to turn off the priorization in wayfarer (!) for S2-LVL8 Cells.
We dont have THAT much S2-LVL8 Cells in Germany, and even the former underpopulated S2-LVL8 Cells here now have a "base stock" of wayspots.
Still, those areas are prefered when wayfarer churns out reviewing material to its wayfarer-budds.
The System clearly has nearly stopped giving out reviewables in dense-populated S2-LVL8 Cells to its reviewers.
Going by the product managers recent comments, he wants us to re-allign what we think wayfarer is and what it's supposed to do......there are no bugs just players not understanding the system 🤣
Comical that these bugs have gone on so long and our feedback ignored.
Currently I have submissions a year old that are still in queue and others submitted a week ago in voting. One went through in 2 or 3 days, got accepted but did not appear in ingress even though it's a completely empty cell. Yet we are told to re-think how wayfarer works....
How can i be told how wayfarer works ? it doesnt work, it is broken, like Don Quijote said to sancho panza a million times when "Tilting at windmills"

I could tell you all about why the candidates in review in this (flame & cloud) s2-lvl8 cell do not move an inch.
As i understand, you new folks at wayfarer need some time to find out the specialities and strange things in wayfarer, that your predecessors have build in or mistakenly activated.
as you can see, my sons and i live at the intersection of 4 s2-lvl8 cells. every each of them has its own little tiny way of creating havoc and mischief.
The upper left side is where we live. things take its time in that cell, but ultimately they resolve 6-8 months after submitting.
The "Flame" Side is the bad side. This is the S2-lvl8 cell that towns like Mannheim are in. These pretty big towns have ALOT of wayspots like murals that are not even there anymore. The problem is, that due to the fact that this cell is filled to the Brim with wayspots, there are no wayspots here going be resolved. the system doesnt give them out anymore to reviewers, because it says "COMPUTER SAYS NO! THERE ARE TOO MANY WAYSPOTS!"
Theres the Cloud side, which basicly has the same problem, it has a bigger Town (Aschaffenburg) in it, that also has alot of wayspots and its surrounding towns. The parts that are rural just do not get any resolving.
Theres the HEART side. We currently only submit there, because 6 month ago there were basicly no wayspots in it. It is a rural side of the country, and there are just some smaller towns. in the beginning, things flew thru in 6 days (!) now it is taking 2-3 month.
Your Wayfarer System is set that it only gets things to people to review when there are not "too much" wayspots already in these cells.
This is the advantage of areas like the "heart" area, because people rather get the things from this cell to review, so it gains wayspots.
It is the BIG disadvantage to people that live in the "flame" and "cloud" area, because the big towns do have the mayor share of wayspots, while the small towns 50km away do get NOT A SINGLE WAYSPOT IN 12-18 MONTHS without UPGRADE.
Dear Logbook, another month has passed on MS Wayfarer. The old crew has abandoned ship. Sailed from Lehave By Day Light. at 4 o'clock p.m. the wind headed, and Coold not Beat to advantage Putt into Metoon Harbour which is a good one. The New Captain is squirreling around like a squirrel, and is busy here and there. Guess the MS Lightships launch soon is keeping everyone busy. Even -jh is not the same.

i just mass-deleted all submissions that were in queue and voting in that s2-lvl8 cell. My friends will also do that.
There no need for you to do nothing about this anymore, we just wont go there to play anymore.
