Supporting Pictures....

I posted this suggestion awhile ago and I think it needs repeating so more people know about this.
When Nominating, the supporting pictures should be pictures of the actual subject, from an angle that shows hat the Nomination actually exists and that there is safe, pedestrian access.
There are so many nominations with supporting pictures taken from next to the Nomination, showing the surrounding area, but they don't actually show the subject which means that they aren't really supporting pictures at all.
One more thing, you are nominating Wayspots for four different games, not just Pokemon Go, you should be calling them Wayspots, not Pokestops and Gyms. (that last bit is just my opinion)

POIs. That's the actual word for it. Wayspot sounds alright aswell.
Some of this comes down to the wording in the submission text in game. It says show the surrounding area/show that there is a safe space for people to stand (I don't sub in PoGo so can't remember the exact wording) so we get loads of supporting photos of the floor which is completely unhelpful.
Niantic really need to look at clarifying the wording.
I always call them Wayspots these days. we used to call them Portals before the other games came online and OPR became Wayfarer. POI is fine too I just feel we should recognise these Nominations are for all four (and future) Niantic games.
Poi just stands for “point of interest” and it saves on characters because you only have a certain amount. The real issue isnt with the nominators as a whole its the wording used by niantic as in pokemon go they refer to them as pokestops. If someone doesnt read these forums it wont do much for them
