An alarming fake portal was made using a intentionally misplaced street view photosphere.

Someone made a photospehere on google maps just to trick reviewers to approve his portal.

I live in the area and there is a military base there, you can even see that it's absolutely not matching the satellite image, jet the portal got approved becasue people thought that the 360 photo sphere was legit.
Also I cannot seem to report the sphere, do tell me if you can.

So yeah be on a lookout for these, always look outside the photo sphere!

I've encountered a fake photosphere and have reported it using the Google Maps app on Android, but the photosphere still exists. Perhaps you will have better luck.
