Hi, I’m wondering what it means for
my nomination to say “not accepted”. It isn’t declined so I’m confused.

Normally, this is the result of the rating. So your submission got rejected. Otherwise, it would say "accepted".
How do I know why it was denied
You should recieve rejection mail with reasons on your mail used in PoGo - some players don't get it due to some bugs, but normally yoou should get one.
you do get them when you submission was made in 2021 or with an english set mobile even before this time.
I tried to explain before that some players don't recieve rejection mails because of some still not fixed bug, sorry for confusion ;)
I know that now everyone get rejection reasons in they mails, even with other languages that English :)
People said it was on private property yet it was just a public road sign. I don’t underdtabd
Your screenshot ii really smal and is cut on text, but with this I can see that your nomination was indeed rejected - that what "Not accepted" mean. Try looking at your mail, you should get rejection mail for this nomination, you will see why it was rejected.
You can also post screenshot of your nomination (both photos, all text, location and screenshot of rejection mail) in "Nomination Improvement" part of forum, we then can see what your reviewers saw and we will try to help you improving your nomination to get it accepted, or we just explain to you if it's not eligible. Without it it's really hard to help more.
Can you show us screenshot of full nomination? It would really help.
And if it's a road sign, then it's not really eligible. Maybe you mean some other sign?
