Old Dairy Sign

(Re-Post since other one isn’t letting me post anything)
I was wondering if this is an eligible wayspot. It has safe pedestrian access, through the sidewalk, and was a local hotspot back in the 50’s-60’s. A lot of community members would come here to purchase dairy items, and a lot of them are still in the residential area here (Yes, I’ve asked the locals). But my concern is, is it eligible?

If it is listed on a historic registry, then it would be eligible under "great place for exploration". Otherwise, the answer is no.
I wouldn't require it to be listed, but the supporting info should at least point to an article mentioning it. Unfortunately Alta Dena milk stores appear to be a chain business, so ineligible. Is the store still open?
No, the store is not open, the sign of the store is all that is left of the place. I figure that it is unique and something to visit since there are almost no dairy stores anymore.
As you can see, this would be a borderline nomination. If you want to go ahead, try to present the best case of the history of sign.
What would be the best way of explaining its history? I’ve asked the locals about its history and they told me it used to be a local hangout spot, as well as the store. Since there’s no store there anymore, the Dairy Store Sign is all that is left of the store and it is pretty unique to see. It’s not small either so anyone can see it no matter from where they are. I guess the historical part should be pointed out right?
I think so. As I said, it's a marginal nomination but a good story might push it through.
Thank you so much! Would accounts from neighbors and community members that are 70-80 years young be a good story? Or an article I find online as well?
Anything you find online is obviously much better for reviewers than relying on what the submitter said only.
Right. Thank you!
