Hashtag added to URL causes load error between nominations

Description of the issue: I haven't found a pattern for this yet, but a few times a day, after hitting Submit on a nomination, the next URL will have an anchor link/hashtag at the end of it, which causes the page not to load.
Device, OS:
MacBook Pro running High Sierra version 10.13.6
Safari version 13.1.2
