Help Improving Nominations
So I’m not really sure how to improve this nomination. Are general public benches/seating near rec areas (such as a catch and release pond) not viable?

As a side note I've checked all my spam filters and have never received an email about any of the rejections thus far. What address or domain should I white list to make sure they get through?
Just like you say, just a bench does not qualify as a Waystop, it's not a unique enough element.
Thank you for your response. Does rule signage for something like the catch and release pond qualify? I had incorrectly assumed a bench would qualify since things like signage and other rec area items qualify (basket ball, playground, map, etc.).
Very small chance this will go through. It will be considered a very "generic" sign, which is not too unique in its kind. Not trying to be rude or anything, but just how I know it will be judged
Thanks for the feedback. I had based it off existing stops I’ve seen. Seems like a lot of generic stops need removing. Not really any place for stops outside of high traffic tourist spots.
Rule signs are also not eligible. If it was a park sign or an information sign about the pond or park yes. But a simple rules sign is not eligible
Also stops are only removed if they fall into the removal criteria. Just because it doesn’t fit current criteria doesnt mean its grounds for the poi to be removed
Thanks. Overall think I’ve learned it’s a waste of time to try and grow my rural community. I’ll just have to travel into the city.
No it's definetly not a waste of time to try to add some new POIs, but you need some better candidates ;) Maybe there is something else that you can nominate that has more chance being accepted?
As for nice nominations you might try to nominate, the most easy to accept are: monuments, temples/churches (also religious monuments too), playgrounds, outdoor gyms, any sports fields, some informational boards (like boards with information about animals, plants or maps), museums, murals (but not illegal grafitti and definetly not graffiti with only tags or someone's name - they're ineligible), some public gazebos (if you're not sure if the one you want to nominate is eligible, try asking here with photos of them before nominating).
Also mostly eligible but a bit harder to get accepted are some fountains, some water pumps, restaurants (but you must explain how are they important to local community, they also rather shouldn't be from any chains, local non-chain restaurants and cafes with some good history or just really popular can be good nomination but some reviewers still reject them as they started to be eligible not that long ago), some cinemas and theatres (better non-chain, local ones) trail markers (they're also often hard to accept, and they can't be mass produced signs). Some other interesting buildings can be sometimes a nice nominations, but with these it's good to ask if you're not sure about them.
With all your nominations you must be sure they're not on any shool grounds (like sports fields on school ground - anything on school ground will be rejected), not on PRP (private property of single family house - even if somethings is on fence of that house, it's still ineligible and will be rejected) and have safe pedestrian acces. And if you have any friends that play Ingress, try to ask them if something you want to nominate isn't visible as portal in they game, as not all POIs are visible in PoGo, so sometimes you might try to nominate something that exist in database but you don't see it in PoGo, and you will get a duplicate beacuse of it.
If you know about all of this then sorry for writing it to you, but I hope any of these advices help you with future nominations :)
You can also try to nominate square or park, but if you want to nominate them, they should had a board or plaque with it name, or soomething eligible to be anchor for this place - in my area parks don't have they own plaque with name, so we don't nominate park, but we nominate things in the park, like fountains, gazebos, monuments, playgrounds and outdoor gyms - all of them are separate POIs, so we can have at least 4-5 POIs in park like that ;) I know it's sometimes hard to find nice nomination, but I'm sure you will find something in your area that will be accepted :)
Thank you! That is encouraging. As the weather gets better I’ll take longer walks and keep these points in mind while looking for possibilities.
I'm glad I could help :)
I hope you will get some nice new POIs in your area soon :)
