QR educational markers

Hey all! I saw something interesting the other day, and I couldn’t decide if it was eligible or not. An apartment community added QR tags around the complex, as was explained “to encourage exercise and exploration”. I scanned the tag and it took me to a YouTube science video. I almost nominated it but thought twice against it, and I thought I would get y’all’s opinion. I don’t have a picture of it but it was a 3x3 permanent picture adhered to a street sign pole inside the community. Apparently the community has hidden several others around the complex so that kids and adults can find them and learn a science tidbit. Would I be silly to nominate it? Would it be hit and miss? I think it hits several pluses, educational, encourages exploration, a place for community members to meet.
what are y’all’s thoughts?

Is it just the QR code or does it have anything else on it?
It also had the community logo, and a picture of what it was about, the one I saw was about the submarine and it took me to a Short YouTube video about the history of the submarine
That's good, if it was the physical part was just QR ocde, you'd most likely not be able to get it approved. But with additional information it has a better shot. If you gave it a good enough description about it's educational value to the community, and took photospheres to show their locations on street view, you might be able to get them approved, but it might take a few tries.
Try getting some photos next time you see them and post them here, would be easier to give you advice about them
If it’s has some kind of sign to explain what it is, I think it’s very cool. If just QR code I don’t know how eligible it is..

I would not consider a QR code by itself to be a valid nomination. I'd also be concerned as to where some QR codes might lead if used...
I completely agree, the ones I saw had the community logo on it and a small picture like someone walking. when I scanned it, it gave facts about the community, like "did you know that 5.5X around the community loop is one mile? Have you found other hidden codes like me? Explore your community! meet your neighbors!, get out and exercise!" I dont remember what exactly it said but it was something to that effect. I should have taken a picture. but I thought it was a really cool way for the HOA to get people to interact with the community.
