Fake Wayspot Abuse in Lebanon, MO

There's a lot of fake and purposefully misplaced wayspots in Lebanon MO. Objects do not appear on satelite or streeview, and backgrounds of photos/archtecture of buildings do not match those in the photos as well.

@NianticGiffard @NianticCasey-ING This area is directly related to the abuse that I uncovered in St. Cloud and Metrowest. The two LFLs that share the same photo there also used the same photo for a portal in MetroWest, that was previously located here: https://intel.ingress.com/intel?ll=28.530529,-81.462835&z=17&pll=28.530529,-81.462835
I'm sure there are more connections as well, but I don't have time to look into them at the moment.

Would like to note for anyone looking for abuse in this area, there's a park called Nelson Park that is titled "Nelson Park - UNDER CONSTRUCTION!!!" on google maps. Google maps says it is next to a middle school so it looks suspicious, but it is indeed the location of the park. I submitted an edit to change the name of it to "Nelson Park" on google maps with the correct street address from the park's website so it hopefully look less suspicious.

You sound mad you got caught and Andis was able to recognize and bring receipts that these directly tie to another abusive area.
Also, stating they need a life when you’re the one who has taken the time to **** someone’s social media?

You're really not making a strong case for yourself here, buddy.
Next time, try not bringing "receipts" from someone's personal social media account. This isn't a trial, and you're not a character witness.
I'm unsure as to what kind of "power" you have in mind. The only people who can remove wayspots from the system are Niantic employees. Users on this forum can only post reports.
If you think some wayspots were incorrectly removed, there's a whole section in this forum dedicated to making appeals for those, you can freely post there and ask Niantic to retrieve wayspots that you think deserve to remain in the games.
I'm mainly confused about this part: "Imagine someone in your area makes a few stops. Helps everyone. Then you lose those sure but most of the original/legit stops as well"... so you are saying that those stops that were removed were non-legit, yet you put them in a positive light by saying that they "help everyone"?

Ive been very civil considering the circumstances.
I didn’t include it in my first response because it is irrelevant, people are allowed to have differing political views, but Andis was definitely not laughing at the pandemic. If you live in or pay attention to Florida politics, you would know that our leadership has treated this pandemic lighter than they should have and Andis joke was pointing out the irony of this. Feel free to actually visit Florida and be surrounded by people who actually believe this pandemic is a hoax, Andis is not one of them.

To get back on topic though and as previously mentioned, it is not “they point you obey”. It is, people report suspicious portals, Niantic researches and takes action according to their findings.
Removal appeals don't quite work like this. There's a list of details you need to provide for each wayspot you think was incorrectly removed, as well as evidence as to why you think it should be restored. Feel free to visit the Invalid Wayspot Appeals subforum, and post future appeals there.

@NianticAtlas Thank you for cleaning up the thread. Is there a way I could confidentially pass along some of the additional account names that are likely involved with this mess?
The Ingress mission creator tool shows the description for the above abusive wayspot "Pokemon Mural". It states the artist of the mural is called "N7". This is false. N7 is actually the beginning of the account name of the main person involved here. The person has lots of alt accounts, as they have already proven, so I'm happy to provide the full account names if they are needed. I'd also suggest looking at the reactions for the comments that are remaining on this thread and you might even find another one of their newly created alt accounts. ;)
Also, just a side note for those of you who tried to **** my character about being a "COVID hater" or whatever that was. I take COVID seriously, and I was criticizing my local politicians who clearly don't. Let's just clear that one up for all to see.
We have reviewed the report and have taken action on the Wayspots that violated our policies and 7 Wayfinders in accordance with our policies. While we are unable to discuss our actions in detail to protect the submitter’s privacy, they may include, but are not limited to, sending a warning message, placing restrictions on their Wayfarer, Pokémon GO, or Ingress account, putting their account on probation, or placing a temporary or permanent suspension on their Wayfarer, Pokémon GO or Ingress account.
