Not Visually Unique Trail Marker

The nomination below was rejected because it does not appear to be visually unique:
Title: 5 Lands Walk Directional Marker
Description: Directional marker connecting people to people and people to place along the 5 Lands Walk. Head along the beach towards Macmasters Beach Surf Club, or right to Avoca Beach Surf Club via the Captain Cook Lookout.
Supporting Statement: The 5 Lands Walk is a cultural walk which is important to the indigenous peoples of the land. This marker at Copacabana Beach provides directions to others in the area.

Someone people or a certain mythologist will say that the nomination overall is a bad nomination and deserves the not visually unique damned reject of a reason but it's not like it's just a random pole with arrows or something, it is it's own pillar with a beautiful design. If this isn't visually unique, then reviewers are absolutely blind.
Is there any way to improve this so that IT IS MORE VISUALLY UNIQUE?!

Is it permanent?
The information on it seems to indicate that the route changes slightly each year, plus the walk is an event held on the 26 June.
Im not convinced that all the signs etc wouldnt be removed after the event, as nothing on my brief browse of the offical site leads me to believe its a permanent trail.
@HaramDingo-ING Don't be surprised with weird rejections; I've had a similar ones rejected because of 'photo orientation' and 'live animal'. It's a common problem.
Try photographing closer, it will focus attention on the design (which, for a trailmarker, is fine). Include the entire subject in the supporting photo, with a landmark or easily recognised feature in the background. Provide a link to the walking route's own official site https://www.5landswalk.com.au/ to try and convince people this is not your average trailmarker. It has something extra.
Should be a fine addition as a portal. Try again.
