Accepted New Photo not added into the portal

Hi Folks,
I added a new photo of a portal and got acceptance mail for the same but it didn't show up in the portal as mentioned in the mail. It's been almost 3 months yet nothing is happening. @NianticGiffard can you please give an explanation on this?

Existing bug that we are waiting on a fix for
So according to Casey's post they have resolved the thing for Pokémon GO but not for ingress! :( And this also means if I submit the photo edit from GO it will be added in both the game?
@Mysticjit-ING whether the additional photo was submitted via Ingress or PoGo, none of the approved photos are showing up in Ingress at this time.
Photos have not updated to Ingress for over six months.
And, Ingress agents don't get badge credit for reviewing photos (or edits).
Also, Niantic recently created a lot of wayspots with no photo at all.
I think it's not fixed in PoGo too. I added a few new photos for pokestops in my area (some had really terrible photos, like playground with photo made at night where you can't see almost anything on this photo), and to my surpirse some of them were accepted pretty quick.
But most of these photos still wasn't added to gallery, and I'm not talking about days but weeks here, in some case more time since they were accepted but not added. And in pokestops that I can see that new photos were added, they got only 1 new photo added. For some pokestops I tried to add 2-3 photos, and all of them were accepted, but always only one new photo is visible in game. I don't know if they were added in Ingress, but from your comments I think they weren't. There is still something to be fixed for sure, in all games.
