Submissions in a language different to the local language

We had a discussion in our local group about a submission nominated in a language different to the local language. In this case English is the local language (Australia). I’d previously read that submissions in local language was preferred but wouldn’t make a submission invalid. Is there an official clarification on this (it used to be found in the wayfarer help section but is no longer there).

It is mentioned on the Pokémon Go Help Page: https://niantic.helpshift.com/a/pokemon-go/?s=in-game-locations&f=submitting-a-pokestop-nomination
So, foreign language isn't a reason to reject a submission.
No idea for Ingress, I'll leave that one for the other player base 😀

It's still a Wayfarer rule, regardless if it's on the PoGo or Ingress help section.
Official ruling has always been official language preferred but other languages aren't a reason to reject as long as the title/description is accurate and isn't abusive.
I meant that comment as "I can give you an official reference for Pokémon Go, but not for Ingress if you have players who reject any source related to PoGo" 😀
I skip them if I cant read what the name or description is. I dont feel I can rate the nomination actually and wouldn't reject or accept it.
