Since it is located on the premises of a military facility, it cannot be photographed (the last opportunity for civilians to photograph was on the opening date of the base in April 2019).

This is an anchor monument on the left side of the base, going straight from the main gate (checkpoint) of the Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) Kanoya Air Base.

The Air Base Museum and various aircraft outside the main gate can be visited by civilians throughout the year from 9 am to 5 pm, but the main gate is closed except for the base opening day in April, that is, one day of the year.

As shown in the discussion linked above, the Self-Defense Forces do not allow the installation of wayspots inside the base except for facilities that fall under the category of "public relations facilities, etc." The anchor monument is not a public relations facility, so it is a wayspot to be removed.

If a case that meets both Niantic's disapproval criteria and the Self-Defense Forces' request for deletion is decided not to be deleted, Niantic should explain the reason in detail (not the template text).
