For the last few days, I keep on getting edits from far away from my normal reviewer area.

Like you can see, I normally never get a non-German edit. However, this has been the case for the last few days. Especially the non-English title/description edits are not really reviewable for someone who doesn't understand the language from the edits. I also think that this has something to deal with the current problems Wayfarer had.
Can someone maybe check this?

While waiting for the post to get approved, I had four more edits of this kind. Since you cant skip edits, it's a guessing game.
I keep getting random location and title edits in far-away countries, i.e. I live in Norway and I've been seeing name and location edits for portals in Poland, German, Estonia and the UK now. That is fine in some cases, but in other cases I don't have any idea about what the descriptions or names are saying, or any grounds for determining the locations of things.
I have NOT set my bonus location near any of these locations, in fact it was on Svalbard (the island way up north) until I tried moving it to see if this was the cause of it.
I also started getting some edits from more far away countries.
I got a lot edits from Austria, some from Netherlands and I think I had one or two from Switzerland and Belgium. These aren't countries that I normally got nominations from, and they're way far away from my normal review area.
I also got much more nominations from far away parts of Poland and Germany, from the other side of these countries that I shouldn't normally get even if they were upgraded.
i have 3x3 for new (+ my country territory), and 6x6 now for edits, in foreign languages too. as for me - the grammar only could be a problem, but if they want - they get. google translate helps a bit. i believe there was not some mystical maintenance, it was an upgrade or fix, caused a forum flame in past days. as i had 1-3 edits/day before - i can have up to 80 edits/day (scraping the bottom). suddenly i have discovered, that many portals in my area were suggested to move away from their original real locations, even my new hatched several days born... , some right corrects shown up, which were suggested long long time ago... i have reviewed my local cell, and it was interesting how much more i will... and as i said before - 6x6 around me. many abusing edits were reported... (i believe i will not get ban for reporting them as i know about that 30d ban thread) well i can say that edits are much more interesting thing than those stupid photo edits, and (wow) i do not get them any more.
well, i can say now - im happy with this upgrade, and let it be in foreign language, in all cases it is better than photos :)
p.s. as i understood - nearby edits goes first. so if you do not want others - you can stop and wait for new close edits
It's interesting, because for the first time ever today, I actually got an edit from Victoria in Australia. And reviewing from New South Wales, I guess it is a bit needed so it helps rural areas get their edits pushed through.
