Error attempting to reset hometown location for Russia Wayfarer Challenge

Hey Niantic team,

I'm trying to alter my hometown location in Wayfarer so that I can take part in the Russia Challenge.

However everytime I try to select a new location on the map (say, Volgograd) the map just keeps zooming in, rather than dropping a pin and allowing me to save.

Could you please manually reset this option for me?
