I changed my bonus location to Russia will I still get credit?

Will I still get credit for the challenge even tho I didn’t reset my hometown I messed up and did my bonus location I hope I can get this reset as I guess I didn’t understand the qualifications and I hope it’s not stuck for a year! Even at that sconce I have reviewed Russia with my bonus will I still get the rewards?

You should still get the rewards as long as you have the green banner displayed on the top of your Showcase with the number of wayspots accepted/time left.

Your bonus location will be locked for a year. Your home location will be reset according to the Niantic announce.
