How long 'In Voting'?

How long does a nomination spend 'In Queu' and 'In Voting'? 12 days and counting so far. It seems like the last time I did this, about a year ago, they went through rather quickly.

12 days is quite the wait.
Your region may not have a lot of reviewers to carry the weight of those who only submit. If 12 days is too long to wait, you can review to earn an upgrade and your nomination should be processed faster.
it can take several years
Wayfarer voting process is broken. Expect a LONG wait....
Depending on the area, it can take anywhere from a few hours to some years.
4 Months and counting...I started reviewing a while back to see if it would help at all...
Reviewing helps only when you earn and apply an upgrade.
My oldest right on 20th July 2021 : Nomination on May 30th 2020.
I’ve reviewed this just so you know lol.
They should do something where, if there aren't enough reviewers in the area, the reviews are sent to nearby area reviewers instead of indefinite waits.
@TheGoozim-PGO you're 'preaching to the converted' as they say. I think all the regulars in these discussion fora have been saying either the same or something similar for quite a long time. I think I posted something in here only yesterday that expressed the same sentiment.
The above actually does occur. I think after about a couple of weeks (or even months) those nominations start to slowly dŕip-feed but very slowly. For example, one of our colleagues who did not upgrade something in Coles Bay, Tasmania saw nominations from there without them being upgraded.
And I'm pretty sure the nominations from the simpleton from Ivanhoe, New South Wales does not review at all. Well away from any regional city, so outback that they have to be sent further out. Occasionally though, the Western Australia ambassador will get a non-upgraded nomination from my city and vice-versa, but for some reason I think it's related to agreements.
Agree with the above. I live in a small city in the US, ~100k total population. Every once in a while I get something in my city. I get a little more from similar sized cities within roughly a 50-mile radius. After that, I get stuff from the state capital, the next state over, and a good amount of state from random other states that are nowhere near me.
I don't think it's accurate that *if* there are many more submissions than reviewers LOCALLY your own nominations will sit there longer (years). In my area we have now nominations sitting "in queue" for 16 months, and nominations sitting "in voting" for 14 months. I'm on the East Coast in the U.S. Not particularly dense with waypoints. When I review, the nominations presented to me are in Canada, Mexico, California, Minnesota, etc. (sometimes rural and sometimes cities) and almost never local (literally one or two in my own county have popped up over the last year - and never seen one from the nearest-to-me large city)... which would lead me to conclude that this system is random, broken, and not following any reasonable or fair pattern when showing reviewers nominations.
12 days? I have one that’s been in voting for 1.5 years 😂
see image - February 2021 submission.
Others I have are more than 6 months old.
I’ve done a few upgrades and they take a while to get. And if you get rejected, you should get the upgrade back…but you don’t.
i hate you bother you since its been almost a year but have your nominations got passed “in voting yet’
